It does make since. In california they enjoy lax medical laws. If legalized they could no longer grow their own medication like they could with current med laws, and tons of other restrictions like Washington growers are in for come August when they release the state liquor commission's guide lines. Doesn't sound cool at all.
 
I ordered some RD Leeroy on the 6th and it came through San Francisco and was in my hands 8 days after ordering (Wa state). I did not order a shirt this time because of all the troubles I have been reading about but the mug came through just fine.

The laws wont change for Wa state medical patients, we can still have up to 24 oz's and up to 15 plants.

You can do your own research into it, but it didn't seem like any one was keeping it a secret. I think its terrible, and bad example of our community. People need to grow weed not greed!

Who do you think is going to come in and supply that legal weed? People that are just going to give it away. I think not. Just like what is about to happen in Washington state. They legalized weed alright, but you have to buy it from a weed store who buys it from licensed growers.

Licenses that are issued by the liquor commission, really, weed is now lumped with one the worst controlled substances. Good old stupid juice. Those licensed growers will have to have well over $200,000 in start up money to meet the regulations. It is just a measure to take weed out of public hands and turn it over to the big money that wants in on those "greedy" growers and dealers cut.

All it is going to do is take away medical patients right to grow their own and make rich people richer by flooding the market with low grade commercial grade weed.

There is also the heroin the cia had the mob flood into the african-american communities in the 1960's to distort the black power movement. All this information(and tons more) has been released to the general public by way of the freedom of information act. You just got to go find it and read, because they ain't playing these stories on the history channel.
 
I was reading an article somewhere last week that described some of the particulars of "electronic spying" mess currently going on. Further into the article it said that customs had recently been using a similar program that was reported to be "very successful". It said that it keeps track of where contraband was sent from, and similarly tracks the addresses of where packages had been sent to, and then links all this shit together to point them in the direction they might want to go if they decide to pursue further investigation. Don't get me wrong....I'm not saying they are coming after us small fish. But it sure sounds like they are linking it to identify suppliers of seeds the same way they would be using it identify the suppliers of more serious terrorist related materials. Lets face it, they don't have the resources to attempt to even notify local law enforcement officials every time they bust a few seeds being sent to someone's house. But it would'nt surprise me to see them testing their new program and training their people on it by busting seed suppliers and taking our shit.
I had enough seeds for the last couple of years and was not aware of the recent problems until I started looking in forums today for info on where to stock up again. I have not been using the forums at all and have not kept up on whats been going on. I was shocked as hell on finding out about all this new crap. This sucks.....
 
what amazes me is how well cannabis seed ordering works, we've become spoiled as hell
looking back at some old high times articles from kyle kushman in '97, seeds were brought up a few times but was seen as way too risky/sketchy at that time
today? it's a multimillion dollar business, maybe pushing a billion at the rate of new breeders popping up
customs goes on seed hunts from time to time, but must seem like a joke to them with some of the messages we're seeing put in the letters
it is overgrow, and it's getting bigger and better every year
 
I say it was Marc Emery that ruined the seed bank game. Once he started trying to link weed to revolution, he forced the federal government's hand. If he never would have been on that "over grow the government" kick we would still be getting our beans from him and the rest of Canada, instead of over seas. His actions just gave the fed's fodder to say the weed smokers are a rebellious group and must be closely scrutinized. IMO.

It was awesome from 2000ish till about Aug 2004, when the fed's came down on Marc, snagged two of my orders and hundreds of others peoples orders, and try to bait hundreds of people into sending more money with an actual home address,(thank god for internet). After that had to go over sea to get beans and that's when beans steady came up missing, luckily only Seeds Boutique has robbed me(someone there or Post office got me for two fresh Hundred dollar bills.) But from what I read here and there sound like maybe one in a hundred come up snagged or green tape. Which ain't bad considering this ain't Wal-Mart we're dealing with.
 
I had an order coming from marc emery that got snagged..marc was cool tho , I talked to him many times on the phone..but I knew he was pushing it before they came down on him,should have been a quiet mouse in this.i'm sure he's figuring that out now..i wouldn't be walking the streets to legalize weed if I have a warehouse grow going on,lol...yea seed boutique skinned me up for a 100. recently.buyer beware.
 
Marc was a cool cat for sure. I even seen him on a Mtv news show. He brought the reporter to a grow show in Canada, she walked in to a house with hugh top colas covering every foot of the house. Her facial expression was priceless. At least they didn't lock him up and give him the death penalty the US was looking for!

It's nice to know there are human sponges out there that know just as much(hell probably lots more) than I do, about random areas of the chronic. Cheers. Like GI joe says "knowing is half the battle".
 
I read some shit that "Breeder Steve" wrote about Marc. I came to the conclusion that the two fucking hate each other. Anybody got some insightful educated opinion on that shit? Is Emery a fucking snitch?
 
I totally forgot about that. I think I did see something like that, with Breeder Steve giving it to marc. I honestly can't recall though, but now I have to see if I can dig that back up. Cheers.
 
Dude, your username is fucking badass...just putting that out there. But yeah, not sure about that whole thing, I always thought Marc was a cool cat...but that just might be some hype to make him out to be a martyr for the cause. II'm just wondering to be honest. It seems some cats on ICmag don't like the dude.

Thanks, I don't know why it struck me. I was thinking one day(huge history buff) about how man has been manipulated by those in the "know" ,or ones that hold esoteric knowledge, for all his existence, and thought well hell that's not as secret as they'd like, anymore. LOL. Really, I was probably just stoned again to tell you the truth and the name hit me and I like the way it sounded. Thanks again for the shout out.
