Sensi Star...

The re-veg worked perfectly as you can see..

i have 13 clones in the dome rooting. i cut them 10 days ago.

ended up with 5 seeds.. all of them look just like their mommy seed. kind of small and oval shaped.

i can't wait to flower this plant again

is anyone paying attention to this thread?
if so, would you like me to continue posting as i take these clones back into flower?

I watching. Great job on it. You've got a lot of patience waiting that long for any plant to flower, definitley more than me. I'd love to grow some Sensi Star, but if 11+ weeks is the average flowering time, then phuck that. :(

I will be here every step of the way if you keep up with posts. I saw on like the 3rd pic of the lastest batch I saw that the stem was maybe a reddish or maybe even purple? The reason I ask is because a couple of my clones are starting to have that trait...?

stem on the seedling was purple, stems continued to stay purple throughout veg and bloom. even now they are purple still... I don't think it's any sort of nutrient or ph problems, that's just how she grows.

thats good to know. Since it is my first grow all I worry about it is deficiency or over watering maybe even under watering. Its great to see your thread as well as mine. If I have questions and they dont get answered I just come check out your thread. Again thanks for the help, I can never get enough of it. Like they say two is better than one and three is just icing on the cake

Happy growings:eyesmoke:

send all the questions you want my way. this is the 1st time ive grown sensistar, but i have grown many other strains, currently including: AK-48, Sour Diesel, and Ice

I am also currently thoroughly stoned on a very nice Sour Diesel that has been curing for about 2 weeks.

I know this is your Sensi star thread but how is/hard is it to grow that sour diesel. I saw one the other day and it looked really thin. I mean compared to a sensi star or even the really bushy mendo purps. I know how its looks has nothing to do with how easy/hard it is to grow but I was just wondering for my next grow.

sour diesel practically grows itself. it can deal with alot of nutes, but it can also happily run on a lighter mix. it ripens fast, and is literally fully ripe in 60 days of bloom. much heavier yield than any of my other strains...

i"ll snap some pics of the ones i am about to harvest so you can see

Yea that would be great! I am looking into getting a lil better yielding plant than the sensi star. I am going to keep it in the garden of course but sour diesel is a great smoke for me. I really like the sound of that.

I should be putting up some new pics of the girls sometime tomorrow night check'em out if you get the chance. Just a lil to high in the clouds to do so tonight :blsmoke::blsmoke:

Method has soooo much to do with yield ;)

Well for the first month of my ladies lives I had no method for them. I have just got them a 400w mh and think it is a little far from the plants. About 15in from canopy and my hand just bearly feels the heat from the light. Just thought Id ask since you seem to know your shit.

I keep a thermometer about canopy height to display the constant temp........ I use that to determine how close I keep HID..... with a 400w MH that is just intake air cooled, you should be able to get about 10 inches from bulb depending on the canopy area, you want to get as much good spread on your full canopy area as possible, without pics or specs it would be hard to say......

grow area is 3'x2'x5' Ill try to post some pics of the whole set up in the next couple of days on my SS thread.

hey loaded, have you read my thread from the beginning? if so, can you answer my question? seeing as how you are currently grow ss, do the pistils on yours change from white?

loaded, i just looked at your outdoor thread. your sensi looks nothing like mine. the leaves are shaped totally different. i still wonder about the white pistil question from the beginning of this thread. but i don't think our two sensi's behave alike.

we just have different phenotypes...... her pistils are notoriously long lasting, and from what I can tell will stay white so long as environment allows..... i.e. temp, light cycle, nutes and watering/flushing, I wonder was she still covered in white pistils when you harvested?
