Shiskaberry by Barney’s Farm

This is Shiskaberry by Barney’s Farm. The reason I chose this strain is because it brings back a bunch of memories and has great sentimental value. Shiskaberry was the first strain that brought me back to cannabis after going over the deep end with opiates and eventually to heroin. I Honestly never believed I would ever be able to get off the stuff. I would ALWAYS relapse after 30 days Max This went on for 10 years... I was a “functioning addict” held down a job and everything the whole time! It wasn’t until I found cannabis again and started smoking Shiskaberry everyday (cuz that’s what my guy had @ time) that I was able to finally stop with the opiates all together! A couple days past April 20th will mark a whole year (Also feel free to post any questions, comments, or have discussions in this journal)

I Haven’t really documented much during Veg, however I plan on doing updates at least once a week from here on out I have been running a cookies next to her so the cookies may be included in a pic or 2. I just flipped to 1212 on March 22. So far I got to say I am extremely impressed with the overall vigor of this girl. I had to top her on the 20th because she was getting out of control, so I cut her to allow the others in the closet to catch up. To be honest the topping didn’t slow her down one bit

congrats on staying off the shit man. i know its a tough go. but stay strong smoke the herb and live each day knowing some drug isnt in control of your life anymore. i am seriously proud of you even tho i dont even know you.
now your plants are showing a bit of cal or mg def. what medium you using?

Thanks, just wish I went back to cannabis sooner! Had I known... I tried methadone, suboxone, subtex, etc... couldn’t get more than 30 days till now! Also, Corrected the Mg issue already and new growth has been good

life is a journey. everything happens for a reason
its how you play the cards you were dealt thatll determine the outcome of your hand.
ive had many friends loose their battles with opioids one just recently who overdosed after being clean for quite some time. shame. he was a great guy.
not to be a downer or anything. just trying to say theres so much damage done by that which sometimes the user doesnt even understand. i constantly think i should have done more to help him. even tho i know there was prob nothing i could have done because he wouldnt have listened. sad. literally tearing up right now thinking about them. stay strong my friend and fight everyday if not for yourself but for the people who care about you
and a huge congrats on 30 days man.
maybe you will think of my story if the temptation ever struck again. and if i can help you that way then that makes me feel good too.

Yeah very well done getting to a year that's a fantastic achievement. Been there so know how difficult it can be.

She’s Now, the stretch has officially taken over

They are too big to go on top of the washer & dryer anymore I have to water them on the floor They are surprisingly super happy & won’t stop praying even though they are in a small container

After all the trash talk barney's get I'm really pleasantly surprised by how the plants I'm running are developing. Seen nothing but bad stuff said about the mimosa evo but mine is really stacking and stinks of Fanta orange

Anyway they are looking lovely and healty, good work my friend

I think it’s kind of hit or miss with Barney’s, although I gotta say this Shiskaberry is definitely leaning in the direction of a major hit I love the structure on this girl

Yeah I can get that. The gorilla zkittlez has turned into a real ugly beast with weird looking buds. Still looks to be a big yielder, just not so sure on the quality. She has nowhere near as much frost as the others. Will see in a few weeks time. Will whack a separate post up though.
