True. But it's ancient history which Biden insisted never happened. That's ancient history. A lot has happened since then, or are you just trying to sell something?

should be a poll thread question.Do you think he'll go back to the Senate and actually do something for a change?
Have you never had to make a tough decision in life?He said he supported a tax bill that froze cost of living increases to social security, but didn't favor what he said he supported? I think you're trying to argue semantics here.
I'd appreciate a source article that cites exactly what he's recently denied about his actions 36 years ago.True. But it's ancient history which Biden insisted never happened.
Never mind. I just checked fact checking sites. Argue with them, not me. You're regurgitating propaganda garbage.True. But it's ancient history which Biden insisted never happened.
Biden said he would take immediate actions to promote good results.
What specifically did he say in the debate was a lie? A couple of examples, please.Yeah, I'm sure everyone believes the guy that repeatedly lied to America on live tv.
I posted it just a page back. Here it is again. Not an article, but a transcript.I'd appreciate a source article that cites exactly what he's recently denied about his actions 36 years ago.
Meanwhile during the debate last night he denied ever doing so.Here are your facts: https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/GPO-CRECB-1984-pt7/pdf/GPO-CRECB-1984-pt7-4-1.pdf
On page 9811 Biden begins to speak on his support for the tax plan:
"Mr. BIDEN. Madam President, I am not sure that I am going to take the full 15 minutes allotted me under this special order. The subject which I rise to speak to this afternoon is the same subject that our colleagues, Senators KASSEBAUM and GRASSLEY, spoke to earlier; that is, within the next 12 to 18 months this country will face an economic and political crisis of ex-traordinary proportions if Congress re- f uses to take decisive action on the deficits that we face. That is why some of my colleagues and I are proposing what is referred to as the bipartisan budget freeze which will stop the runaway deficits in their tracks..."
..later he goes on to say:
"There is next year's budget agenda in one sentence: Cuts in medicare, cuts in Federal pensions, cuts in indexing for social security and other indexed programs. That is what we will see next year. The administration's budget proclaims it."
I think he has confused biden with trump.....Yeah, I'm sure everyone believes the guy that repeatedly lied to America on live tv.
RT for the 'left' is not a credible source. It's all here
Why skip right over @Fogdog's post? He laid it right out for you again with a actual fact check source showing it was mostly bullshit. Even after I spent the time to go through how it was lying propaganda last night in real time.I posted it just a page back. Here it is again. Not an article, but a transcript.
Meanwhile during the debate last night he denied ever doing so.
Are you talking about this claim?I posted it just a page back. Here it is again. Not an article, but a transcript.

Uh, yeah, I listened to the first part where she repeated the BS about Biden time and time again tried to cut social security. It's all here
Sure.Uh, yeah, I listened to the first part where she repeated the BS about Biden time and time again tried to cut social security.
Nah, that's already been pretty much debunked. So, I won't listen to the rest.
Kim Kardashian has about what 63 million followers? That doesn't make her a credible source for news either. "The Hill" is just propaganda designed to do Russia's bidding disguised to appeal to the 'left'.Sure.
Add your irrelevant dislike to the video, and acknowledge you are in the MASSIVE minority.
a Bernie supporter talking about being in the massive minority. now that is some funny shit.and acknowledge you are in the MASSIVE minority
Because I checked the facts myself via official gov docs, as previously posted. We could argue semantics all day, but frankly his answer did not seem completely honest given the facts of the past. Foggy's fact-checking included this, which was my previous point as well. Sure, it's not a huge deal, but I'd like our future President to me more transparent than Biden seems to be..RT for the 'left' is not a credible source.

Why are you willing to buy into Bernie's propaganda? Especially on this topic, do you actually think Biden is going to take your social security and Medicare when he is trying to expand it to be available for 100% of our population?
Are you talking about this claim?

Bernie Sanders stated in a television as on March 11, 2020:
"Joe Biden "has advocated cutting Social Security for 40 years"
Says Joe Biden "has advocated cutting Social Security for 40 years"
Your citation of gov record is accurate. 40 years ago, Biden, as shown in the congressional record advocated a freeze in SS payments of one year.
40 years ago is a long time ago. Making that the case against voting for Biden is a bit overblown isn't it? Context matters too. Why was he advocating that change?
We tend to get into the weeds sometimes because you stress the exact words and I stress what the meaning is in those words. So, I'll just ask you directly about how you interpret this statement. Are you saying that Joe Biden would cut benefits if he became president? Or perhaps he's opposed to Social Security altogether? I'm more interested in why you think a discussion in congress 40 years ago when discussing some policy decision this is such a big deal today.
I have time. I'll go into the debate and look for the exact statements where you claim he denied even dicussing a 1-year freeze in social security payments. If you know the time stamp, it would save me time and I'd appreciate you telling me where to look.
