It seems that it is in the forecast to start raining Sunday morning for the next 2 weeks straight.
If I harvest Sunday morning before the rain, I will be pulling it 3 days before I have left it 2 weeks of not feeding it.
It has been dry for days now and the plant is dry.
About 80 percent of the hairs are amber and curled in and the calyxes are swollen big. The buds were a little loose due to lack of light, but over the last week it's been quite cold, around 9 degrees, the plant has ripened, and when feeling them now they do feel firm.
I don't want to go much past the 5th of October anyway, so if when I check the trichomes on Saturday and I don't see a ton of clear ones, should I just go ahead and chop it a tad early before they get soaked for 2 weeks and get too ripe?
