Should I start flowering now?

Depends on how much height youve got and what light your using.

The plant looks extremely small to me, but if youre growing in a small cabinet obviously height is a big issue. How long have you been vegging it?

That's really up to you. If you only have the one plant, and you have the room, I would veg it for a while longer. Remember, plants about double in height after the switch.

imo veg longer... when you start to see preflowers, then you can change over to flowering.. using full spectrum of lights will help a lot... more blue during veg, more red during flowering, but try to maintain a full spectrum , even if it is a little percentage of total lighting... better than nothing.

I just started flowering a week ago with the help of "Pineappleman420" .... he was a huge help for me! I got a ways to go in flowering... but pistils already starting to show and I have multiple spots going. (Using LST (Low Stress Training) Trying to get a more even canopy and more light penetration through the plant.

Curious thought, did you change your bulbs to the lower wattage and lower kelvin for the flowering? or did you add them to the current bulbs?

veg as long as you have the space is my philosophy... but keep in mind when you flower them - they get roughly twice the current size.

where do you get this from ?

I veg under 485 t5 flouros and at once they're moved under 1000 watt mh and hps lights, more is better not less
i veg under 7 100watt (23watt) cfl bulbs, then when i get ready to flower i add my splitters and then add the 60watt (14watt)) cfl bulbs for flowering, currently i have the room 12/12 cause i'm finishing one up, then everyonce in a while i'll add my hidden ones that need just time under the lights, just the way i do it, since i don't have 2 seperate rooms

20170303_103220.jpg Pink and Orange hairs... Unknown strain... Green Crack? possibly... 1 125w CFL plus 3x 100w CFLs for side lighting... Big bulb is orange/red side of scale... 3 smaller bulbs are yellow/orange part of scale... Coming in awesome... Flowering almost done... Starting to get amber/gold trichromes

14 weeks of veg? you must be growing a giant... hope you are using some high quality lights... otherwise yield and quality may suffer...

i went 14 weeks with mine combination cfl and outside. Once i started to notice the branches oming out more, i put in the sun for 1 more week, and then in the closet where its 12/12, the started the flowering process, been flowering ever since
