should i use this hid grow light?

i just found this craigslist posting and im a fuckn noob and dont know a good deal if i see one. here is his post

but wait theres more!!! i gotta huge work light thats 120 volts and 4.2 amps (hella brite) but wattage is unknown
will this b gud for growing?thinking bout using it for the sides of the plants

this is a blower....search "cfm" or something like that on CL and you shoudl find something...this is a pic of my blower and light setup...its a 600 watt hps and I got the blower with it off of craigslist for 135. great place to shop:blsmoke:

thats a bathroom fan...it wont pull enough air for you...you need at least...at very very least 200 cfm airflow

this will b my first indoor grow so i wanna do it rite. im a little concerned about the nouie so i might get a 270 cfm blower for $40. this operation is all about stealth ya know.

blowers make noise like a loud bathroom fan on steroids...so...do what you can to eliminate the noise...a smaller fan like that will do just fine...just dont run like 50 feet of flex tubing

no problem man...check out my getting perpetual journal too if you are having any problems...I am gonna be posting all kinds of info on my setup...I am cheap...but effective... you may find some useful info in there :mrgreen: glad I could help...and rep+ for taking the time to do it right.

im growing in an attic with sooooooo much space but the air is hot and stuffy. but my setup is 8ft away from a large skylight. so im probly gonna use it for exhaust (carbon filter and hid lite heat). soon ill start a grow journal and post pics!

I will be watching...I wish my attic wasnt 3000 degrees...I would do the same

That extra lamp you described sounds like a halogen work light. If that is the case then .....noooooooo don't use it. That lamp you found will do every thing you need. The MH for veg and the HPS for flower....Grow it up and smoke it down.:joint::peace:
