You haven't experienced the effects of racism ever in your life, dumbshit. Neither have I. We are both privileged to discuss racism as an abstract concept. Acts of racism are real and daily event in the lives of non-white people in the US. It is not an abstract matter to them. What is asked of people like us is that we listen and try to understand.

Yes, it is true that satire is offensive to people in power. Totally agree. So do civil rights protests. So does a lot of music. So what? How were you harmed? Meaningful change is always opposed by conservatives who support the status quo. They are also the ones in power. The object is to make them uncomfortable. I mean, duh.

Here you are talking about strong voices against hate speech -- like what Martin Luther King made. His speeches angered millions. Do you know what whites were saying about him then? The most mild was "we didn't have a problem with black people until they started demonstrating". Say anything negative about the status quo and the people who are comfortable with it get riled up. How about if they stop supporting racism? How about if they shut up and start listening?

Yet you complain about a bit of satire? Dang, I suppose you are angered by the words, "White Fragility" too. As the saying goes, the dog that is struck, howls.

I'm pretty sure this has existed since the founding of the country. When white people tried to change things half the country took up arms to defend racism. So fuck about 35% of the voting population. That white trash should fuck themselves a little faster. They deserve it. Are you part of that 35% codtongue?

I’m sorry if my taking offense to the growing acceptance of this type of hate speech towards any race, bothers you. African American, Caucasian, Muslim etc it doesn’t matter. This hate should be focused on the justice system and the governing bodies thereof. Yeah members of the white race have done horrible shit, there’s no denying that. I just don’t see how exploiting The BLM Movement, by further spreading hate towards a whole race will benefit anything. I see plenty of white faces on the front lines of the BLM. Would you say that to them as they prepare to support the cause? This IMO should be about corruption and racist ideologies within a society and it’s justice systems, not to place blame and hate on a whole race. I am all for retribution for that. I support ANTIFA and BLM, just don’t see how those types of comments are going to motivate any change, should all races not work together to make change?

I agree with 99 percent of what you guys are saying. Still I’m not going to turn my head when this is type of speech is increasingly being used.

Tell me, when has racism ever hurt you? Lost a job, been denied the opportunity for one, been threatened personal harm because your skin color made people afraid?

All whites are not the problem. Did some whites not help to free the slaves? Was it not the work of some influential whites who pushed for the change, civil war maybe? I see this is going nowhere but I do understand
your points and agree with most of them.

I said white people are the problem in context of a discussion of racism in the US and Canada, which from your and other people's posts, is apparently a cesspool of racism. Not once did I say, "all white people". If you aren't a part of the problem, why be so sensitive?

No in his case I was just pointing out his intellectual inadequacies. Yes I do realize it does not carry the same magnitude as when it is applied to Jewish people or African Americans and by no means do I wish to take away from that. Still doesn’t make it okay and I do not consider all forms of this to be satire.
