What do you do for a living? I'm a retired electrical engineer. Very conservative. Been married to the same woman for over 50 years. Two kids. One an HVAC engineer. The other a nurse. I never get angry. And always look at the facts. Now what gave you done with your life? I see trumpkins all of the time crying about this and that. Suggestion for success. Complain less and study more. And I'm sorry their is no god. And trump screws kids and you don't care. Knock yourself out!
I tell you so you can judge me based on what i do and what my kids do for a living? Thats old type way of thinking really. You should ask the same question to these guys you pal up with here. You would be floored by the responses if they didnt lie aboit it

I own a farm and don't hunt anymore. At 75 I go to the store. But seriously I was raised in Appalachia. My first .22 at 7. We raised most of our food and even made lard. Scraping hogs so you can cure them sucks. I still own guns. They are a tool. I have 3 dogs who think they can get a pack of coyotes. Hence a high power rifle and a 12 gage pump are above my back patio door. Loaded but not chambered. But I don't need an ar or anything like that. That's penis envy stuff.
We recently had a pack move in close to our place. We live in town now so we aren't allowed to shoot them but we have had bears here. One tried to break in to our neighbours place a few years back and the police shot it in the back alley.

Mine stay safely in the case until hunting season. Grouse, geese, duck, bear, moose and rabbit are all on the menu here. I don't see the reason to own an AR. Here they're classified as "restricted" Firearms. You need a separate license to own one - the same to own a handgun. Very strict set of rules, regulations and paperwork just to own and transport.

I do own an SKS however. Great for short range deer. I'm sure I could drop a calf with it but I wouldn't. I use it mostly for plinking a few times a year and eliminating pests when we use to live out of town. A fun gun to shoot and ammo is close in price as that of a .22.

mass murders were happening before Trump though....or did your facts not tell you that when you were reading?

the solution is simple: you can't make it that easy to get the gun. period.

we're just going to go around and around and around..should we Susan Smith it and drain the lake (take guns away) like Texas wanted to do to stop other mothers from driving into it and killing kids?

the age limit needs to be raised..these 18 year olds don't understand what taking a life/lives means. proven fact that males frontal cortex lobe does NOT mature UNTIL AGE 30..this is responsible for reasoning and critical thinking.

Donald Trump is a fvcking cancer- like all cancers, we know what needs to be done.

Not in my state. Most use a .270 or better. But real hunters wouldn't use such a weapon even for close range. I have a 18x Leupold on my 700 adl Remington. 500 yards and crows are dead. Penis envy. Same reason some eat hot peppers. To impress others. You guys really need to study psychology.

I judge you because crazy people are making the world crazier. You said in another post the political system was corrupt. Knock yourself out! I'm retired! Keep paying my social security! But don't blame me and others for the life you chose!

Here in Canada we need to complete courses and send in paperwork to the government. Then we have a process where they do background checks, which includes medical/psychological and criminal. Then comes the reference checks where I believe 3 references are required.

Our system isn't perfect and I know guns end up in the hands of people who shouldn't own them but it seems we end up with a hell of a lot less legal gun crimes here.

Personally I'm a hunter and use my guns strictly for hunting with the odd target practice run once or twice a year. As a matter of fact both of my guns havent been taken out of the cabinet for a couple years now as I'd taken a break from hunting but I'll be going out this fall.

Where does a gun ban put those that use their firearms strictly for hunting? Even a small calf moose can put quite a bit of meat in my freezer for the winter.
A ban on assault rifles and handguns is what’s needed. Those weapons are designed to kill people. Hunting rifles are typically not the choice of mass murderers. Canada’s gun crime rate is I believe is rising and not a small part due to guns coming north. Huge profits can be made in handguns.

Exactly why I pointed it out - the SKS is much like the AR. Here we are not allowed high capacity magazines for anything other than a .22 with the exception of very few firearms. As a matter of fact our government was talking about banning them not too long ago.

I don't hunt with it - just used for plinking and pests. I've been told it's great for deer but I've never used it for such. We don't have them in my area. I've got a bolt action .300 magnum, single shot .22, and a 12 gauge pump and that takes care of all game in my area.

Dude, every pot grower or pot smoker is in violation of federal law regarding gun ownership. They all lied if they bought new or from an FFL holder. Every one of us. Inclusive. That’s why a bunch of the idiots squawking about expanded background checks have cause to be concerned. Of course legalization at the federal level would eliminate that. So of course you won’t see it.
Yeah. I don't care. Sorry. This white guy terrorism has to stop pronto.

It is rising. I'd be for a ban on such but the definition of "assault rifle" is quite broad. Handguns are absolutely unnecessary but I know a few trappers that are allowed to carry while in the bush.

I wonder how it would go over here. A lot of people don't seem to want to part with the handguns but since they're only allowed at the range I can't see why.
