So i was looking for a thread on compost tea brewers and i didnt see one so i decided to start one. 
This is my diy vortex/air lift style tea brewer i made it from plastic tubs and tubes and a sink drain.the air pump isnt powerful enough to make an actual vortex but it does put a stream of water over a mesh basket with compost in it. That coupled with the bubbling action of the air pump should work good to aerate the water and grow some microbes.
Its not a perfect design but it will work to make a 1 gallon batch of compost tea.
Im interested to see other peoples designs and processes in brewing, so post some pics and give a short description of your tea brewer whether it be diy or whatever.
