hello all. i have been browsing, learning and posting on this forum for a couple of weeks. time to introduce myself and my little green friends i feel. i am from the uk, and i am growing in an unused shower located in a bathroom extension downstairs in the house.
i have grown in the same enviroment before under a hps light and will add pics of that grow soon (when someone tells me how!). anyways, due to certain financial difficulties (and legal threats from my gas and electrical company), this grow is going to be kept to a cheap, but still effective overhead.
unfortunately, i have no "premium" seeds left and due to me leaving this house in june, i dont feel i have sufficient time to really appreciate spending what little money i have on MORE seeds...
my setup is as follows;
* ROOM DIMENSIONS: 2.5' width, 2.5' length, 7' height shower cubicle with black/white plastic shower curtain. room is about 10'w x 8'l x 7' h. black/white plastic covering window. light not adjustable, although i creatively stack boxed shit until the plants are at the right height..
* LIGHTING: For veg, i have a 125w eco-light with 6400 kelvins. For flowering, i (hopefully) have a 400w hps.
* GROWING MEDIUM & CONTAINER: Soil, bought from Asda (Wallmart subsidary) containing vermiculite and other things. mixed with 25% perlite. plants start in 5" pots until i feel ready to move them to what i think are 3gal square pots. (ill post pics soon)
* NUTRIENTS: i will be using Advanced Nutrients Sensi Grow A&B throughout the vegging of my plants (starting tomorrow on the largest hopefully) and will be choosing an appropriate flowering nute as i go. maybe chosen with suggestions?
* STRAIN: fackin bagseed. and two vietnamese/thai stick seeds.
* EXTRA: i have a 8"? fan blowing on them 24/7, a 18/6 light scale, and a heater which keeps the temp at about 70 degrees.
I know ive posted alot of stuff here, and i dont blame you all for not reading it, but any comments and/or advice will be warmly recieved. i am trying to stick to a low expenditure by finding and using sources and deals. any support greatly appreciated. rar!
***PICTURES WILL BE UPLOADED AS SOON AS SOMEONE COULD KINDLY EXPLAIN TO ME THE INS AND OUTS OF SUCH A TASK. ADIOS ***
