Nasty damn virus that was, wasnt it!. I like when Im sick it attacks my back and neck..must be my weak spots. Bully virus!
I hear there is nothing a doc cant do for a virus and it has to run its course. Unless you have shortness of breath of cant gold liquids down for 24hrs then you must seek immediate medical attention. Lets ask doc @curious2garden

Ugh, Dia sorry about that virus. How are you feeling?
As for doctors treating viruses it is possible. It's not a cure but merely shortens the length of the active illness and can inhibit some of the more serious flu complications. The CDC has a good article on it here: https://www.cdc.gov/flu/antivirals/whatyoushould.htm

In an adult if you are losing skin turgor you need to go in too
