I've got a 4x4 with 3 fans, two for circulation and one drawing air out to the lung room where I have a dehumidifier. So you don't have any kind of fan? Nothing for circulation?

Don't pay attention to that guy. While 18 or 20 will do just fine, Mephisto runs 24/7 and you can hardly even get their seeds at this point. They have been the top breeder for maybe 15' to 19' before Daz got Night Owl going and Rocbudinc started showing his crazy shit(he's the next big thing imo). 24 hours of light hasn't held back their plants when you look at all the grows out there. Try all 3 light schedules if you like, but there is no negative to running 24/7 lights on the plants.I'm still on the fence about that... I've read a lot of conflicting opinions. The 3 plants that I didn't fuck up seem to be growing well, so I've been hesitant to change the light cycle. But I have been thinking about going to either 20/4 or 18/6 for my next grow to see if I notice a difference.

Yes, I have a tower fan blowing on them. So far, I haven't gotten an exhaust fan mainly due to the cost, and noise. I splurged on the light, but I really need to cut costs everywhere else that I can - especially if I get a second tent.So you don't have any kind of fan? Nothing for circulation?
Reducing the lights by a few hours will be a fraction of enough savings 4 an exhaust fanYes, I have a tower fan blowing on them. You are running your lights at 24/0, which is something people do when trying to get the plants as big as possible, and at the same time you are concerned about all of them growing too big and not fitting in the tent. One option is to run your lights at 18/6 (or 19/5, or 20/4), which combined with lower temps during the lights off period should slow the growth of your plants. It could also reduce their stress, and make feeding lighter/easier. Just something to think about. On the other hand, if everything is going well, then there's no need to change anything.I don't know if I can make this work all the way to harvest, but I'm going to try.
Looks great!Update: I used a milk crate and some boxes to get all the plants at roughly the same height. The light is now 20" to 22" from all of them. Thanks to @GregoryB for spurring me to get this done.
BTW, I remove the plants from the tent to water and examine them, then let them drain before putting them back, so the boxes won't get (very) wet.

Yeah before buying a 2nd tent get your 1st tent outfitted properly.. You will be happy you did!Yes, I have a tower fan blowing on them. Could prolly get drip trays for a buck or 2 but I hear yea. Few bucks here n there adds upUpdate: I used a milk crate and some boxes to get all the plants at roughly the same height. The light is now 20" to 22" from all of them. Thanks to @GregoryB for spurring me to get this done.

Nice thing about living in a legal state is finding saucers, pots and risers on free corners. Also watching CL for supplies under the "free" section.Could prolly get drip trays for a buck or 2 but I hear yea. Few bucks here n there adds up
Might have to take a vacation in an established legal grow state just for garage sales and sidewalk shoppin.Nice thing about living in a legal state is finding saucers, pots and risers on free corners. Also watching CL for supplies under the "free" section.
Nice. You could have put those wires through the holes to make it cleaner. Then those wires wouldn't be hanging like that. But I love all my HLG lights.I don't know if I can make this work all the way to harvest, but I'm going to try.

These are all autos in 3 gallon pots. Left to right, front to back: FastBuds Green Crack (19 days from sprout), FastBuds LSD-25 (32 days from sprout), FastBuds Jack Herer (29 days from sprout), MSNL Girl Scout Cookies (40 days from sprout), ILGM ZKittlez (40 days from sprout), ILGM Northern Lights (40 days from sprout). Light is HLG 260 at 100%, 24/0.
I learned a lot between the back row and the front row; note that the ones in the front don't look like crap. I haven't done any training on any of them, partly because I didn't want them to get too large horizontally. Being my first grow, I'm not overly concerned with yield, just trying to learn.
If I have to, I'll break down and get another tent and light; I think I'm probably going to do that for the next grow anyway.
BTW, the pic isn't crooked... the light is tilted to try to accommodate the different plant heights.
Cool so you answered my questions with your post....thanks!I don't know if I can make this work all the way to harvest, but I'm going to try.
