couple pics from the rack just now,im seeing alot of nice redish colors in these nugs.
@benbud89 thanks,im also planning to put a few bars together with more 2700k or 3000k cobs in it with the 1400ma bars so stay tuned

Great thread. I am enjoying watching you rockin' with your nugs out. That drill press with the fricken lasers,nice. No problem in a relationship that flowers, hot bath with foot/back rub can't fix. :grin:

I can empathise with your light building compulsion, we should start a 12 step program for DIY LED tweakers.

2 of the 3 bars in that spot are 54 in .and i built 2 bars @ 5 ft. but im only using one of those. it just works out that way if i plan on filling that whole side or the room with cobs.i was building them to fit around the wall fans basically lol.but i had made a few 4 foot bars using home depot precut and it just seemed like the 5 cobs were not spaced out enough

These are beautiful, how long did you top those and how long did you veg them?

depends on how busy i am with my real job lol.but most my stuff is vegged for 10 weeks and alot of times its more like 12 to 14.if it gets too big i just cut it back untill i can fit it into the flower room.when we chop a plant in flower i replace it with a new one that night so its always full and we always have a steady supply being processed,plus im not over my limit for weight (yeah right ) .anyhow i just top em whenever they need it cause they are touching the lights or getting too close to em.some stuff maybe just 2 or 3 times but stuff like my master kush gets topped/trimmed once a week all through veg.then i usually thin them out some in flower around the end of week one so i only have 30 or so nice cola branches to work with.the mk always ends up being about 40 colas lol.

So I was right about my thoughts on vegging for 2 months. What size containers are they in throughout the grow?

depends on how you set up your lighting,but yeah i think if you have the cobs spaced good and enough juice it appears you can grow small trees under them lol.
i run seeds and clones in solo cups,move them to 2 gal square pots for a few weeks and then put them in 7 and 10 gal squat pots for flower.i usually wait till they are drinking about a gallon a day in veg before i move em to flower.i know when they are drinking like that they have a good root system,and i get good quality mature plants this way.that plant i just posted was in a 10 gal pot and she was only about 50 to 54 inches off the floor but a good 5 x 5' wide

Those are good looking girls, too.

My new personal best is 32oz, grown under COB LED. Tied for first is another one that also weighed in at 32oz. Third place is a mere 30oz. All these are COB grown.

I'm pretty damn sure I can grow a 48oz plant with the lighting I have, I just need to step up my prebloom veg game. I'm on it.

got some 2700k cobs from cutter to use on the next set of bars.these will be side by side with the 3500 /3000k bars i already have so i can see how they compare.think i will prob use some 3500k with these but not many,maybe 20%

there are 3 bars of 5 cobs in that area so 15 .but im only half done with that spot,it used to have 3 x 600w hps on a mover in there over 3 plants.i took those down but im waiting on parts to finish the other 3 bars and then ill have 3 plants there again with about 400 less watts plus no cooling fan for the tubes so more like 500w.
my op was 12kw total before i removed the 3 hid lamps,i think im around 10.7kw now with the cobs

alot lol.i think my last bill was about 1500.00 but i pay redic high rates here and thats the 11kw flower,1.6kw veg a 4 ton ac for the flower and a 3 ton for my veg and the house,plus 4 flat screen tv's smallest screen in the house is 42". i think my plasma tv uses more power than people think because that fucker puts out some serious heat lol
