Smell MY Pics???? Yes.....No

67 Days flowering and I finally decided to harvest. Had a lot of fun and learned a lot on this grow. Ill be weighing the crop in about 3 to 4 days.

The buds smell wonderful

If you look in the top left hand corner of the pic with buds hanging, thats the gonzo, it does exactly what it supposed to....keeps my pad from wreaking of fresh herb

I would definitely recommend to anyone with a small grow op.....Beats the crap out of a diy carbon filter in my opinion
 
i'm sitting here now wanting a red LED light for my flowering i'm about 2 weeks into mine.. and they do NOT look like yours.. although I do have 6 CFLS and 1 15 watt tube..

i'm also wondering if i go get a crap load of red Christmas LED lights and create a board.. if that would work.. humm. .

I used cfl's for the first six weeks and they worked pretty damn good, just too much heat. I can tell you that my sour og plant was a late bloomer compared to the chemdawg but the sour og ended up having the biggest buds.

Christmas lights arent gonna work, sorry. They dont have the correct wavelength to grow anything.
 
So after 3 days of drying its time for the weigh in..I had the fan blowing on the bud which i now know is not a great thing, but oh well.....I know better now and will do better next time. I sampled some of the bud and it is good bud, so now i begin the curing process. I cut down my girls at weeks with no amber trichs, next time Ill wait for amber trichs also. But anyways...not to bad for a first time grower

I did not get a wet weight as I thought it would be pointless.....when I was trimming the stems they were so heavy I could barely keep them up after while....seems like they weigh next to nothing now......Thats if next to nothing can be 96 grams of bud.....dry

Just went through your whole journal...sweet :-) Bet you can't wait to run LED beginning to end. I never tried CFL but ran banks of T-5's and LED's def kicked it up a notch. Happy smokin

Did I bash CFLS? No. Did I say that his grow was shit? I don't believe so. I simply pointed out that he had 3' tall plants and an HID would give better penetration. I definately didn't ask for your input it was merely a suggestion so seriously STFU. The OP said it won't work for his situation and I'm cool with that, I'm not a CFL hater but your obviously an HID hater so good luck being a stubborn asshole.

To the OP, not directed at you seriously but thanks for sticking up for me when I only offered advice.:roll:
 
BTW, hell of a grow wow.

Edit:Oh I see u went with the more economical LED option.I thought that was a peculiar harvest for CFLs.
