see me and my mother both grow marijuana but the kitty cat got to hers and totally snapped the top of the plant clean off. we keep all our plant scraps and twigs from weed becuz we make butter out of them. well my mom dried out the leaves and the tiny little matters of bud from the destroyed plant and smoked them! she is a bit of a light weight and only smokes once a day even if that. so would smoking the leaves of the plant even get you anywhere? thanks in advance... i was just curious:mrgreen:

if the leaves were from a female that was a strain that was SUPER potent, then maybe you could get high off of them... but why not just save them and use them for cannabutter? and leave the smoking for the buds, thats what their there for

my kitty snapped my biggest plant in two to!

Folks that think this ^^^ way have obviously never tried it. You can get plenty high on leaves, especially the smaller ones from the top 3rd of the plant. Fan leaves are usually a waste, though. If forced to smoke leaves, like if you get a male and don't have any pot, thirst stressing will make that smoke stronger. Just stop watering it until it wilts, then take the top 3rd or so?
Of course, the better the strain, the better the shake.

From what I understand his plant is still vegging. That means there are only fan leaves. You said it yourself "Fan leaves are usually a waste, though."

dude u dont know nothin........if u grow a strain like white widow and u grow it right the leaves will look like a christmas tree how u gonna tell me they wont get u high??

They taste kinda bad(greeny) and if you have a high tolerance wont get you very high. I'd suggest rolling them up into a joint and and inhaling real deep.

As I said earlier, the plant is still in veg. That means it isn't collecting resin on the leaves (which it does when it flowers) so your pretty much doing the same thing if you go to your front yard and pick some maple leaves. It amazes me how people on this forum will flame you for just about anything.

Thanks for sharing that info.

So the plant in veg has no THC before flower? If this is the case it should be legal to have plants in veg since it's no different than all other legal plants. But I'm sure they say you have intent to flower, so...

You can get high on leaves even in veg,just not extremely high.And they taste nasty so you got to smoke a pile to get high,the fan leaves don't harbor many glands and are mostly sun catchers that is why they are not choice for smoking they are NOT all fan leaves in veg just the big ones that come straight from the main stalk.Now here are the facts stop bullshitting it confuses people.:peace:

Fan leaves only grow from the main stalk or the junction where you top. They account for a small per cent of a plants vegetation and, while you might feel a stone from smoking enough of them, the regular leaves are less gross and, assuming the strain is decent, may not taste too bad and will get you high.

LMAO.........ur a funny funny guy first off i wasnt flamin u dude whatever that means second veg or flower either way the leaves will have some sort of thc and a person who doesnt smoke much or is a light weight like the girl who started this thread said ''''her mom will get high off the most pooey shwag''' so im pretty sure she would get somethin off some leaves wether shes in veg or flower so read the whole thread and know what its talking about before you say somethin you fruit cake

if you are used to buds, you will not get high. Shake is not worth smoking in my eyes. You have to smoke a hell of alot of it and you will most likely get a huge headache and only feel like you are high. Your subconsious mind can help you get high smoking shake. When I was 16 I smoked a 20 paper shake joint, Got high but got a huge headache followed shortly after.
Just go buy her a gram of some dank. she will be much happier! or give her a beer, that will have more effect on her.
If there are flowers on the plant then those would be definately worth packing a bowl.
