so going for 20 lbs here

So this grow is going to be in Chico CA with a 30ftx30ft greenhouse, 30 plants, 2 600 watters running 18 hours a day to help with lighting and heat throughout the earlier part of the grow (will have all the clones in small pots all huddled together under the light). Planning on keeping the greenhouse between 80-60 degrees day/night with the lights and heaters. Planting first week on january and then flowering through march and april to harvest within the first 10 days of may since the light cycle will have them flower up until then when the light cycle starts to go over 14 hours of light per day and I don't want them to reveg. They will be in 25 gallon bags with FF and using FF nutes the whole way. Trying to get at least 12 GOOD trimmed, dried, cured ozs of bud per plant. Think this goal is realistic with the setup I have outlined? BTW I have about $3,500 I'm putting into this so everything is gonna be done right and with quality. Thanks for the input guys stay high

Never happen, with 30 plants. Indoor with 2 600 watters. Better get 200 plants with 30k of lights.

do it right... wait till spring..if you grow during winter your buds will be larfy
you wont need to heat the GH...a winter grow wont be cost effective
$3500 wont go as far as your thinking it will....
hid lighting and heat will eat away profits...
read up on doublejj's carport greenhouse..i liked the 2011 thread...
everything you need is in that thread...
i copied him and i doubled my goal...
i did like this...
start clones end of feb inside under MH lighting
plug into 100 gallon smart pots in mid may
get a 10 bulb work sting light from home depot
and 24 watt cfls put on a timer so they get their 16 hours...
cut the light mid june...equinox
fox farm nutes are expensive...check out maxsea or the jacks classic duo
they should cost about $100-$150 a season...
also might want to run a few different brands of soil...
might find something you like better...i did...

motul...he is growing ina green house in cali so that means he has the sun he is using for the actual light. The 2 600 watters are for new grow/clones and added heat from them. If he is growing soil big plants he will get the 30 easy as most cali folks I see growing outside 6-10 foot plants get on avergare 3-8 lbs per plant dry.

I do agree though not sure how cold it gets in chico but as long as it stays 70 all winter your ok other wise you will need to have heat on the ground like solar blankets or a forced hot water tube system buried to keep roots warm.Plus check to see what kinda daylight time you ll have you ll need a good amount unless you up the assisted light from ballast which depending on how you setup will be at least dozen plus lights..Yeah $3500 doing this way probably wont cut it as your gone be growing for months this way so Id figure minimal $10 grand assuming you have all the grow stuff on hand but just for bills fuel type stuff in this size.

thanks but i already planned out what its going to cost and its right around $3200....building the greenhouse my self out of pvc and a huge roll of 6 mil film then just the clones, 60 bags of soil, nutes ect....already have the lights and other stuff. Also yea 5 lbs dried off a cali outdoor is no problem...I know it will be not the best sunlight but the greenhouse won't ever go below 60 degrees so i figure 12 ozs per plant after 2 months of veg will be doable

Do it and see but I don't see you getting anything even close to 20 lbs LOL , with that tiny bit of supplemental light your giving them, and your night temps will drop below 60 guaranteed , so I would bet uou might get a couple of oz per plant that's it!! More like 3-4 lbs total ! Dude don't waste the time and money on this shit just setup an indoor setup!!

Yea, but the seed weight could put him up around 10. I think Chico in the winter gets around 20 degrees even less.

There is a reason that you dont see two outdoor crops a year out of cali. If you think that 6 mil plastic is going to keep the cold out think again. Give it a try though.

don't it rain a lot in chico?
your 6mil and pvc "greenhouse" wont cut it...
you plan to use a few dehumidifiers as well?
i see you getting a few pounds of moldy larf...that costs bank to grow...

Shizz he wants 20 pounds..not ounces. 20 ounces under 1200 watts indoors is not a huge problem...but outside in the winter time...

Just throwing this out there. i did 6 in a 10x22 green house got less then 4lb and that was outside full summer. last year hit just under 8lb with 9 plants. The heat sucked this year.
