Does this ever happen to anyone else? You're so excited to get something then when it arrives everything that could've gone wrong does. Not only did the stem snap off but the cone-piece doesn't even fit the stem, time to attempt to super glue and silicone it back on and hope one of my friends has a cone-piece I can steal.

Sorry to hear about your mis-haps - best to return it - After waiting for it a then it's broke; it sucks!!! Were did you order it from? Is it a "Dude" brand name?
 
Good luck cleaning that bitch! Any glassblower can fix that easy peasy if youre in us i think.

It's a Down Under bong, I thought about returning it but it's going to be like $20 for shipping and cbf with the hassle and a replacement would probably get broken in post as well.

Not in the US unfortunately, there's one or two glass blowers in my city but everything is quite expensive here, I might call around tomorrow and see if someone will do it for a reasonable cost but i'm doubting it.
 
I feel for you bro. i once read a thread of some dickhead who got a bong and put it in the freezer for a cool smooth hit, when he opened the freezer bong was broken.

Man i always get cheap ass fucking bongs cause i know theyll break. I never spoend more than 30 euro on a bong. weedstar has cheap reasonable shit. Funilly enough i nevcer break my cheap bongs, think its cause i dont care,

You know that's precisely how I used to feel. Finally I shelled out for a small (huge to me), Roor and I'm pretty pleased. It was a LOT more than I'd paid when I was 19 but I figured at 58 it should last till I croak. Unless I break it so I have been terribly paranoid about breaking it. This has ended up with me sitting on my tile floor at times (I can get really fucked up on some of CN's distillates), I really wish I could share. I think it's lasted me about a year now, LOL.

So yeah I'm thinking about adding a cheap bong I don't give a shit if I break.

The point of my post is to say that I would contact who I purchased it from and complain about packaging. My Roor made it's way from Germany to California all in one piece.

If i had a bong that cost more than 100 euros id be too stressed out about it breaking to enjoy it propperly i think. This bong fucking rock and it was 30 euro with delivery. I should have bought 2 like i do with shoes, Actually 3. One for when you want another one for when you do not want and one for sharing with friends.

It's a pain thing for me. I came off over 120 mg of Morphine/day. I don't necessarily like being stupid all day but it's so far better than the alternative. That's why I felt so damn bad hurting you with my post. I'm so fucked up most of the time I have trouble staying vertical to run (which is what I'm supposed to be doing now), much less be responsible for anything my fingers type. Why I shouldn't be here!

I almost feel like I need surgeon general's warning attached as my sig.

Lol, you and I are all good, everything's fine no problems at all :)

Glad you get your meds though- pain sucks, and being high I think is a better alternative than those dangerous prescriptions out there... They're no good for your body.
 
I get seriously fucked up from like 1 or 2 good bong hits but I can smoke a joint, regular pipe, or vape pen all day and never get as high as I do with bongs. I don't understand, it's some kinda voodoo magic. My bong doesn't get used that much.
 
Any glass blower should do that for cheap. Just smoke them out to test it when you're finished, I'm sure they won't mind.

And you guys just reminded me, I'm gonna pull out the bong and clean it. Getting stoned tonight, hurt my back at work again...

Hurt mine bathing my dog, was just getting better too ARGH! back pain!

I'd return it, I've never had glass shipped to me break, it's improper packaging and that's how I would attempt to approach the situation with the company. I got pictures of my 26 inch triple perc bongs packaging, you could throw it out my 3rd floor window.
