So power cloners rock until you don't have power....

Anyone else experiencing a similar issue or if you just have a power cloner in general I got a little tip that might save you some of the panic I just felt.

Full cloner. 18 plants with only a week to go. I was already adding up how much it would set me back to re clone a new batch when an idea hit.

Idea number 1. Get a length of black tubing or whatever you got laying around hoselike and use it to massively blow air into your cloner Rez causing it to bubble furiously and in turn wetting your cuttings.

Idea 2. This is the one I implemented. I'm lucky enough to be on city water. I set up a garden hose so its spraying a super fine jet into the side of the inside of my cloner lid causing a nice little wet fog to roll over the cuts. They are looking great still after about an hour.

Moral of the story. Don't panic and just figure it out!

And damn.... Anyone out there smell my house yet? I'm flabbergasted at how strong my room smells when those filter/fans go off..... I'm more excited for the final product now too tho but still im worried bout smell and humidity. Anyone know what exposure time is necessary for mold? I've been running down around 40% rh as of late with the winter dryness so that should give me a bit of a head start but still how long do I have before I have an issue? Can you run a whole 12 hour night cycle at 60-70% humidity without issue?

as far as humidity goes. How far into flower are your plants? If you are more than say 4-5 weeks in anything above 50% RH is too high IMO. I would crack the door to the room or somthing to kind of balance out the RH with the rest of the house.

im looking into back ups right now. even checking out some butane/hydrogen options.

its lights out right now so i cant really leave the door open. last i checked it was still under 50% so im not too worried yet its just starting to smell all wet and dank without the filters and fresh air running... gets me anxious.

A deep cycle marine battery ( any 12 volt will do) and a power invert er will do wonders for a power outage, I would not try running the 400 600 or 1000 watters on it cause you would get about 10 minutes but It has gotten me through a power outage in the middle of an lights on cycle with a few cfls. it will run a water pump, fan or aerator:)
