Why is that because I got spider mites? Lol I mean I’m pretty sure it happens man I moved them to a new room that’s close to a window and the window is street level so idk possibly came in that way. But I mean this is my 7th grow without them so I’m stick to growing it it’s more therapeutic then for product for me

Citric acid spray (lost coast plant therapy) works VERY well. Key is to spray UPWARDS, as most of the mites live on the bottom of the leaves. If you have webbing on the buds also spray top down. I did it every day when the lights come on, as this gives the dehumidifier more time to work.
I did it every day for 3-5 days. Then back down to every 3-4days. I am helping a friend with them, and we have them heavily mitigated. Once the plants are done we will purge the room with heavy duty pesticides.
This worked for me, predatory mites did work too but not as well.

You sure it’s not actual spiders? You need to microscope in and confirm it’s actually a mite and not a orb weaver or something like that lol I have the hardest time cause I have spiders eating fungus gnats. I like to hand wash the leaves by covering the buds with solo cups dip your hand in something like plant therapy and rub the eggs off. Persistence and patience will be your friend here. Sometimes I like to run azamax (only in the soil-half life 14 days) but you’re starting to get to a point where the concentration of aza might not half life out by harvest. I’d say go with the wash leaves by hand one is your best bet lol it’s a pain in ass but if you’re mad and determined like I was you will win

Also the guy at top is right your dog is the vector for the mites they ride the fur and he takes them into the basement. Ban your dog from that area sadly lol
No they don’t go outside, there trained on thoes pads. And they only go in basment when I bring them down there while I’m just watering and they stay in a small section I have gated off in another room. But I work as a plumber on a job site in Manhattan idk where I could have picked them up but most likely I did somehow
That what I wanted to know once I harvest this thing I so close to just tossing it but it is one of my heaviest yeiding smelled so nice and ya. So before I bring my next run in the bloom room a deep cleaning should prevent this from effecting my new plants? I will now use prevention methods to get ahead of it which I didn’t with theses. But honestly i need to check like the other guy said it could be other type of spider beucae it is my finished basment and there’s alot of spiders down there I don’t use other then the room I grow in. But thanks I sprayed them a few days in a row took the webs out havenst seen then back yet but I know the eggs are there so they will be back
It could be actual spiders my basment has a lot. It’s a whole appartment down there and I don’t use it so they have alot of chilling time lol but I keep the grow room in clean condition time to time it gets a little messy nothing crazy tho. I do vacuum spider webs often. Tho by the window

LOL I figured it sucks when they kick babies out cause the baby spider webs look super similar to spider mites. I been studying the differences and I noticed if it’s a web from a higher level node or leaf to a lower it’s a good chance it’s a spider using your plant to repel down to the ground. Use your scope to check all the undersides of leaves and look for yellow polkadots on top side the leave that’s going to be them. If you can’t find anything it’s most likely normal ones. They don’t usually do full webs but I had an orb weaver prove me wrong and it had a full web on the inside the plant lol

Post pictures of your girls leaves, especially the ones down low. Spider mites tend to start eating at the lower leaves first and work upwards. They also leave distinct marks on the plants.
And to answer your other question, yes you need to deep clean your flower room, and you need to make sure your veg plants are 100% free and clear to make sure you don't end up in the same situation. When the bad run i'm dealing with is done, I will "schwazz" the plants that are vegging. Not to increase yields, but to take away food sources for the mites and make sure I can spray every nook & cranny on the plants.
I will get some pics when I get in in a few hours
