I’ve got 4 SF1000’s, I’m adding more IR and other reds, SF1000 lacking a bitThere's only 1 or 2 on the sf1000 I always wondered if that's even effective

I'm guessing these lights will last for many years with non proprietary Meanwell drivers and Samsung LM301B SMDs, assuming all is legitimate. LED has come so far that we're long past the days of lights becoming obsolete in just 2-3 years. Having said that, I would definitely remote mount the drivers for much better cooling. BTW, the mfg may not have exact replacement parts for your BML SPYDR, but they make drivers and diodes and strips every day, probably many years of use left.I agree with questioning longevity. I am using a BML SPYDR 600 which is now 5 years old, but probably only has 5 full grows under it. I had to send one bar back for repair about a year ago, and was told parts were not going to be available any longer.
I also have several Amare Technology panels 230, 260 < these having the most on time, and a Pro 3 , which has 3 cobs surrounded by key spectrum monos (MSRP $695, but discounted 25% = $525 + shipping). now on its 3rd grow in a 2 x 4 tent, which seems perfect for it. My preference is bars, like my SPYDR 600. A style that AT is currently embracing, but a Bar 8 MSRP is $1700 (~ $1300 with discount), no price available for the Bar 6, but likely ~ 3/4 of the Bar 8 or ~ $995 with discount.
With most 3+ yo lights, their leds are virtually obsolescent as diode advancement moves along at seemingly warp speed. Unlike other products, which by law have to keep parts inventory a minimum of X years, led mfgs are not held accountable
A SF 4000 MSRP is $529, dimensions provided state 25 x 21; seems like it would be much bigger. Anybody? not that the 2 are apples to apples in coverage or wattage, AND, although I much prefer bars, even if the SFs only last 3 years, the amount of finished meds you should get, IMHO, makes replacing them then a no brainer, and they are probably going to be considerably improved by then, not that I see anything wrong with them now; maybe some 450 blue and doubling the IRs.
Should I ramp up again to multiple tents I will likely get one

or, as you suggest 2 x 2000 seems a vg ideaI'm guessing these lights will last for many years with non proprietary Meanwell drivers and Samsung LM301B SMDs, assuming all is legitimate. Yeah, I don't like the footprint of the st-4000, I'd probably use two sf-2000......... if I didn't DIY with strips.
Strips and bars are where it's at and I'm stick'n to my story.
Hmm... It looks like the four boards of the sf-4000 could be separated and spread apart?
Terrazzo floors SWEET!. The idiot I bought my house from covered them with spanish tile, which looks cool, but, the irregularity of each tile means it is impossible to clean, and it's difficult to use as a flat surface: my living room is 19 x 34And last but not least. I bread a cannaventure pure animal with ggg orange juice. Great plant.

If they were born on Jan 3-4, how the hell do they only have 3 weeks of veg? Don't think that math works even with that common core math crapHere is a quick update. Today is three weeks of veg. I had a little issue with my water being a little alkaline, but all is growing well enough. I am not sure how much these plants will stretch so I am turning the hours back today. I have too many plants to push veg as long as I’d like. I will post more frequent updates throughout the flower cycle. All plants born on jan3-4. I am using a 5x6 area with the light still six ft of the ground Four ft from the canopy
Looking niiiiice.....

as to remote divers, I think I saw a video where that is not as straight forward as it should/could be. One could simply get taller risers to raise them 1"+++ above the board
The SPYDR is a dinosaur. The chips are old, probably one new chip replaces multiple of the chips. The driver is inside the spine and has 6 elec connection tails, one for each bar, but as long as it works I can find a place for it
In case I didn't post it earlier in this thread. Here it is in use. After this I removed the covers/diffusers, which added a lot more light
