Well, dried and into jar yesterday, turned up a tad moist this am so back out in the little veg cab with one of those small fans keeping things circulating. Needs at least 24 hours before going back in the jars.
I love my $3 ebay hygrometers, the best for jarring. I used all 4 in the same jar, exact same readings on all 4.
Bud yield 26 grams
Good trim 13 grams
Things the really matter learned -- My over watering and failure to ph my feeding mix each time, learned by disappointing root ball, was my main failure. Also I have the perfect seed heating pad for that new shelf, keep soil warm, did I use it, no. Why? Not a clue, guess with the crappy pine shelf I didn't like the electrical under it as I saw the water issue early. The wire shelf is perfect for that. New plants look very happy, roots warm.
Things I will do differently -- Keep the girls roots happy, much warmer and letting things completely dry before feedings. A) Less money on nutrients B)Happy Roots = Happier Larger Plant I need larger yields and this is my key for next batch.
Ditching the MG Moisture Control for MG Organic, yeah I know that one of the ingredients is dehydrated chicken shit. Price is still a consideration. MG Moisture control is too unforgiving for me. I would rather control the nutrients added. Problem that developed with batch two showed flushing out a lockout is impossible to do quickly with MG Moisture Control.
I am doing a true scrog this time. Going to choose 4 corners once we begin flowering/stretch and weave some of the material I have been using for tying things up, it is a waxed heavy duty fiber. I need more tops, good scrog, with my current lighting with is what I have for now, will make life easier for me. This also entails more trimming, something I also failed at last time. More airflow. I got so lucky run 1, had mold under the bags, not pretty. Nothing transferred to the buds or trim.
Things I will consider.
HPS light, but this ain't in the cards right now cause I be poor. This will require moving into active ventilation.
I want to perfect the yield on what I have now, go from there, onward and upward. I can do better.
I'll send you a preliminary smoke report when I cease to be so damn high.
