The yield of the Cindy was 80.4 gram.

A second SoG module with 5 Blue Dreams has entered the flower room (on the left)
IMG_7181_1.JPG
One ICE plant has been pulled and is sitting in a dark room. The older Blue Dreams are at day 66F and are not quite finished. In the last few days they have been packing on more frost and the smell has changed a lot too. It used to be a weird smell, a bit like pine with cabbage and something petrochemical; Now it's more like fruit candy. No blueberry though. I've read that it does HSO Blue Dream well to let it flower for a bit longer.

Some foxtailing (I don't mind)

Trichomes are getting there

Of the two Blue Dreams one is growing a lot more vibrant than the other. Unfortunately the vibrant one is also growing dozens of nanners

They are really small and sneaky and have fertilized some of the lower flowers.

How many blue dream seeds have you gone through flux? I really want a strain like blue dream (original that my dad would be like "O!!" And I've had some bought from a bag and enjoyed it) I'm just a little biased since fuckin GreenGenes and and all those lucky dudes get the real cut. Told myself I wouldn't get it unless it was the real deal, but if the HSO rocks close to the original then maybe... Weight is obviously no issue being a sat dom but curious of the pheno selection

Scotch I have never experienced the real Californian-only Blue Dream cut. So I have no clue if HSO seeds are anything close. I have sprouted two beans, still have a third one left. The two plants have about the same pheno.

What driver are you using for the 9 Vero 10s in veg?

Edit: nevermind I found it in the thread HLG-60H-700A
Yeah I really like the HLG drivers. The veg strings are not balanced btw, one is brighter than the others. Not much of a problem and actually pretty handy in the veg room. Also, the most current is flowing through the Vero's with the lowest Vf, which tend to be the best succeeded chips. So it's auto-optimizing the efficiency to some degree now.
Holy shit, that's awesome. Someone send me some clones!
It's a fresh salad, officer.

Here is a group shot of the third harvest. It has been curing for some weeks now.
IMG_7270_1.JPG
Total yield is 410.6 gram, a tiny bit more than the previous grow. An additional 40 gram was lost to bud rot  The biggest tops of both Blue Dreams and one ICE had botrytis growing from the inside out, at the very top. If I get such large tops again I will try to open them up a bit or stick some drinking straws in them to try to ventilate the inside and prevent moisture buildup.

Current situation in the flower room:

Cindies on the left have a few days to go, the rest are Blue Dreams.

Veg room has three more balcony pots coming up
IMG_7290_1.JPG
The balcony pots are working great, they make the whole sea of green very modular and flexible. I found it is easy to create an air gap on the sides of a pot by pushing the sides in, the aeration is then just as good as the fabric pots that I was using earlier. Overwatering is impossible.

Bud rot sucks. I had it an ak47 last september which had a huge cola. I put it down to the suddenly cooler temps combined with higher humidity. This year I planned to have nothing finish this month. Things get back to normal when they turn on central heating around the middle of the month.
You grow nice plants.

Hey flux, how did you clamp all your LEDs when glueing /fixing them to the t-bars? Doing it with only a couple of clamps seems cumbersome. Also, did you solder wires to the cobs prior to fixing to the heatsink, or post?.. Banging together my 100w'er tonight as practice for the 500w'er. My carnivorous plants are gunna love this light ;)

I use glue clamps. The t-bars have the ideal shape

To squeeze out excess glue I move the vero's around a bit with the clamps on. Soldering is done afterwards when the glue has set. The connection pads of the Vero are thermally insulated so there's no unwanted cooling to the heatsink when soldering.

Good luck & have fun with your project!
