Stoner Friendly Gas Stations On The Rise?

So I gotta text today from a friend all excited over glass pipes at a marathon. I started thinking, and I realize in almost any gas station you go to there are fun new sparkly colorful blunt wraps, grinders, lighters etc... and it seems to be each week or two the inventory gets even wider in variety.

Are gas stations becoming more stoner friendly across the map or is it just in my small town. I mean they must make BANK since it's mainly just a town full of potheads as there is NOTHING to do here. I think this is great really, lol its just a sign of change to come ya think? The world is becoming more comfortable with the idea of smoking pot. THe media has been throwin around the rreefer a LOT more freely lately...maybe the man is getting his people ready for the mind boggling change in perspective necessary to make his money..eh?

I noticed it too. Down in florida any local convienience store that isn't a chain carries alot of pipes.

Yeah, I also noticed the same phenomena. I saw many spoon pipes at the gas station nearby. The other day I also noticed a corn cob pipe at the local Orchard Supply (OSH) too, I thought it was kind of obvious what it was intended for, as it was strategically placed near lighters and butane lighter fuel. Lol

I think it's about fkn time!

Every non chain ran convenience store now has a huge range of pipes and bongs now. Some even have percs and glass on glass, granted its china made glass but still awesome to see everywhere.

right on its like a revolution lol. I think deals are going on even, and the stores here with all of this stuff showin up tend to not ID kids. Man its just crazy.... sometimes I question smoking pot because SO many people do it... I feel like its some master plan of the gov't... then i take another hit and its not even worth questioning.

ahh got another calll today about a local medical mj clinic that I had no idea existed.. lol its just a matter of time and its gonna be a weed world.

yup yup, here in PA too. they also sell mini hookahs, haha!

There all over the gas stations and delis in Philly but there way overpriced for what you get.

I have a gas station like 5 minutes from my house where I buy all my scales. They sell bowls and bongs too but i dont buy glass from them.

Maybe all the liquor stores will just start carrying bud... You could go in and grab some Southern Comfort, some Budweiser, and an 1/8th. But there will never be a perfect world...

word! ive worked at a few gas stations and they sell those things cuz thats where stoners go to pick up what they need (blunts, papers, ect)
so they decided to step up the demand... thus selling pipes, bongs, scales, weed clothing and hats, ginders, blunt spliters hahah the list goes on.
just another way to make a buck.
its cheaper then the stuff at head shops... so why not haha

Because it's cheaper (quality) than the stuff at the headshops.
I guess it's convenient though - if you want a quick, cheap, practically disposable pipe.

This cannot happen, we can't let headshops close. Refuse the gas station, buy from a chill environment, we need stoners back in head shops, not in the fucking gas station.

Ive walked out of gas stations that didnt sell bics.
a dependable lighter is a must

To get back in the game most head shops need to be more consumer friendly and bring their prices way the fuck down.

Headshops flip glass for SO much more than they get it for.


It's total bullshit.

I found a headshop that sells the same glass for no shit, like $200 cheaper.

The owner is always there and gets mad business and talks to the customers, he's all for the prices.

Shit you not word for word, when referring to a 4 perc blue dot glass bong he says, "Your not going to find it cheaper, I mean if you find it cheaper come show me where and I'll give you this for free"

That guy is confident in his buisness.

In New England almost every gas station has some sort of pot friendly suggestion in it. Business is business and most of them arent stupid on whats going on.

Gas stations have been pothead friendly for years, just not ALL gas stations. Maybe like a third.

^^^ Tell me about it, I found a sealed jar (for Kush nuggets) at a Rescued Treasure store which costed something like 12 times less than an identical jar purchased at a Headshop. It's rediculous.

its just another alternative thats cheaper and but less dependable
