Thanks. I will definatly let everyone know how it evolves. Right now have to control the very strong odor in my grow room.....
 
trainwreck is rediculous. It doesnt do much medicinally speaking, just gets you really really high...lol

Got my hood and ballast today. So do you guys and gals know if i can run my a/c unit into one end of this hood to keep the bulb and hood cool?

I would run air from outside the room and vent to outside the room and cool the room with the AC, I think you will waste too much AC cooling the hood.

Damn.... he has crossed over to the HID side...... <sigh> .... lol... Nah I bet you get some bad ass harvest's off the HID grows ! Didn't you say you were going to build a new box? Or are you gonna modify and stick the HID's in the same box?

Congratz on the harvest... those colas are fantastic ! yea... I had some train-wreck on thanksgiving .... so did my wife.. my brother in law .. and his wife... the girls couldn't stop giggling when we were saying grace standing around the table.. with the whole family there.. It gets ya really blasted !!!

Stone as always ..... you have shown the awesomeness of CFL's and the right conditions. Good luck with the HID's !!! I'm looking forward to seeing tall bushy ass plants packed full o budz !
 
I wouldnt get a cmh bulb if you are using a digital ballast.The manufacturer says its not for use with the digital ballast just my 2 cents.
I would say get a hortilux or digilux(they say hortilux is not good with digitals either but some people still use it)
 
1. There is an article in the High Times March 2011 issue about bulb compatibility issues and digi/electric ballasts. Check out sun pulse bulbs.

2. Those pics of your harvest; did you really cut them down that early? It looked to me as though NONE of the pistils were red. Just my two cents love the journal and love the grow. +rep.

yeah 3/4 of them were red, 40-50 percent trichomes amber...just the way i like it. prob hard to see in the pictures because i use a 2700k light filter on the camera, takes alot of the red out of the pictures. I use it mainly while the lights are on and all my lights are 2700k. I will take more pictures tonight without the filter and it will be obvious...lol.
