Strawberry Cough, Panama x Malawi

1x Strawberry Cough (NASC freebie) has sprouted, and 1x Malawi x Panama by Ace is in the dirt.

This will be an experimental grow. They will get osmocote plus and promix hp. Combined with the plentiful calcium in my tap water, I should be good to just add water. I hope. I have Jack's hydro nutrients on hand if needed.

So, the nursery area they are in is 2x2 with a 100 watt ac infinity light, running 16 hours a day at 70%. Average temperature 78.

When they start getting crowded, they'll go to a 2x4x6 tent, with 2x Viparspectra 150w LEDs.

I'm not sure how this is gonna go. I'm not impressed with the strawberry Cough so far. It shot like 6 inches before it set cotyledons. I had to fortify it already to keep it from falling. And it might not be too happy with the same environment as the tropical variety next to it.

I might end up culling it and having 1 plant in the tent. Pics to follow. Nothing to see at this point.

Osmocote will still be fertilizing up to harvest. Not the best buds. But will make good enough smoke.

Not sure if there is enough available calcium in your tap water.

With stretchy seedlings put the light as close as possible. A 2-4 bulb t5 flourescent light can be 2-4 inches away with no problem.

Repot it in as large as needed pot. But lay it down 45 degrees, kinda like a 'J' shape, up to cotyledons. All the buried stem will just become roots.

How did it work out?

I moved in July. It was a shit show. My plants did not survive. I've got a couple new plants gong now. Black lime kush I think. Nothing much to see at the moment
