Stuck Timers.

I am in the 6th week of flower on my clones ( the parents flowered for 9 weeks).
So i came home to find my timers were stuck on
They had been under a 500w halogen for 18hrs..
I have fixed the problem now, but will this variation effect my plants?

I know it takes a few days to turn a plant, so im hoping that 1 day shouldnt do em 2 much damage, wat does every1 else rekn?

You'll be fine. But why halogens?

I thought as much, and as 4 y Halogens - simple, its a good strong cheap light to run that i got 4 free. Lol, only thing is it gives off alot of heat as it was an outdoor light. So i just run a fan straight on it.

How bout some pics of those halogen nugs?

I would worry less about the stuck timer and worry more about the halogen light. Even though it does work, you will get light airy buds as the spectrums not in the right area. You are putting out a lot of light but the plants can only use very little of it. Even a few smaller cfl's in the right spectrum, will give you much better results.

I agree, Not only that but evenutally the heat is going to F with ya. CFL's are soo cheap. Save like 50 bucks and you will see such a difference.

I want pics.

Well, i only just started using the halogen.. Prior to that i had them under a 1000watt HPS, so i may just switch them back to that.. I was trying to Veg some young plants under the halogen at the same time, i may just put them under the HPS aswell, but i didnt want to stun them with something too strong..
I could always just put em further away from the light right?

So their back under the HPS light, as 4 pictures, il get them up as soon as possible.

If hat ever happens again my advice would be say the light run 12 hours over then just put them in total blackout for 24 hours to catch up the dark time lost.Timers can be alittle bit tempermental so i always buy digital ones these have never let me down yet,And the dark period is has important if not more so during flowering.But it has happened to me a few times over the years i just make catch up by putting them in a black out little room i made so i can put plants to flower but still use the same lights the plants in veg are in.Just be more careful in the future and the plants will be fine but if this keeps happening this can cause the plants to hermi on you.

halogens are not the right light spectrum but yes you can grow with them. your not going to get much of a yield plus they do put out a lot of heat. i do use 0ne at close to the floor just for heat purpose. thats a good thing you have the hps up and running again.

Yeah Tyke, i think i will b getn myself a digital timer.
As for the Halogen, i was only using it cos it was free, n it was only to flower some clones that i was experimenting with. I was learning to clone, once they rooted i just threw them straight in2 flower, should get 1/2 oz of each cola tho. Lol.
