the story is that the day before FDD was busted, desert dud was taunting him with oddly specific federal charges because FDD did not worship at the altar of PAWL. then desert dud tried to play dumb in the 'help FDD' thread and i called him on it. from then on, i called him desert rat.
FDD did try to troll me for a while, but that's all it was. i'm pretty sure he wouldn't have thanked me for offering his family a place to stay during visits otherwise.
