Suggestions on LST

Posted a picture of this one a couple weeks ago wondering if I should yank it and start over. At the moment I am happy i took everyone’s advice and didn’t because it looks like it’s starting to bush out nicely even if it’s a bit small.

It’s hard to see in the pic but there is all kinds of leaf growth underneath those huge fan leaves with really nowhere to go. Should I be looking to manipulate the plant to expose some of those buried leaves? It’s kind of growing chaotically under there, and not sure if it’s normal and if nature should just follow its course or intervene and tie back some leaves to expose what’s underneath.

This is an auto indica dominated hybrid 27 days in.

Appreciate any thoughts.

Looks great let it go! All mine started really low and turned out fine. Don't know what you are running for a light but maybe raise it a little higher to promote stretching.

You want to do the absolute least you can with an auto.. They lack the recovery time needed for anything other than uninhibited growth.

Leave it be. Once your in flower, if you want to move some leaves to expose bud sites, that's fine.. otherwise, resist the urge to overdo it, because autos dont leave much room for error

That helps. Thanks!

It’s a crappy bestva 1200w both switches on and 20 inches away. I do have those bottom leaves literally resting on the hydroton so yeah I could use some stretch. Thanks for the help.

I’ve been going heavy on the LST but stopped when I saw pre-flower. Do you really think that LST can stress them out to the point of affecting yields?

I haven't had that experience.. Auto BlueBerry Domina.
