I didn’t add to the original post that I did amend the soil again when i first noticed the yellowing as I thought they were deficient. I too dressed 4-8-4 and EWC at 2tbsp/gal. So what do you think I do from here? Just wait? The 4-8-4 should suffice the PK deficiency or is there something else you’d advise to use to boost that as well? I’ll take all the info I can get. I have really been enjoying the learning process that comes with growing and I really have been interested In learning more about soil biology. I did not not know mixing coco and peat based soils would be an issue I am glad I know that now and would etch that habit out of my growing processes. Thanks again man, hope you enjoyed that bowl. You locked out badly. I don’t know your ratio of FFOF to coco ..... then again why do it ?
Grow would have been in better position if you chose between those two instead.
FFOF chimes in at 6.3 ... run it at 6.6 -6.7 ( allowing for drift ) but not sure if coco addition is helping much.
Target the range I suggested.

Stop using “ special water “ it’s a god damn plant for gods sake ! .....

Run tap , adjust ph to match the medium and use ... FFOF will buffer it.

I do occasionally use water from the tap. And the only reason I mixed coco and soil was for drainage and a more “fluffy” soil consistency and I used it at a 50/50 ratio. but as I said I was unaware of the issues that it presents, therefore I’m going to run only one or the other from this point on. Any clue on what levels chlorine would be detrimental to microbial activity in soil? I have no problem using tap if it’s fine to use I just took a precautionary approach. Also don’t want any further issues (though the damage is done) so should I just ph water for a week or more? Without any extra feeding to see if it will recover? Thanks a lot for the reply.

Correct, I’ve read that also. I just never really could find any info on a ballpark ppm range thats harmful to the soil biology/microbial life so I just always played it safe and used spring water by the gallons I’d honestly prefer to use tap as it’s obviously easier and more convenient. Might just move forward with that. Do you run organic?
