sun hut xl with magnum XXXL reflector

Hello everyone, thanks for having me. Im rather new to indoor growing, but I have grown outdoor for years. I got a sun hut XL (4x4) with a magnum XXXL reflector. running 400 watt system with electrinic ballast. If anyone was curious, I think the sun hut is a great product, the frame of it is a litte weak, but the canvas inside and out, and the zippers are heavy duty. I can see building a new frame for it after extended use, but im cool with that. everything looks good so far, considering im only at 3 weeks from seed.
I ordered 10 cheese feminized seeds from AMS seed bank, I plan on using these for my mothers, and grow my clones outdoors. I have just a few quick questions.

1. has anyone ever dealt with AMS feminized seeds, or this strain in general. If so what was your experience.
2. are mother plants from fem seeds safe to clone off of without sexing. (I have read alot of things about fem plants going hermie, I should have done more research before ordering)
3. If I take a few clones from each plant, and label the clones and mothers from which they came, then sex the clones, will that prove that my mother is not going to turn hermie, or any clones taken from my mothers will not turn hermie later on.

sorry bout the noob questions, the fem seeds just seem like more of a hassle than anything from what I have read, next time I will just stick to what I know, regular seeds. THANKS

400w wont be enought to flower in that 4x4 look into a 600 or a 1000
with that xxxl hood has way too much spread for a 400
id get a mh for that 400 for veg then step up to a 1000w

i got a 1000 watt system as well. that is why i actually got the xxxl hood, but my electric bill has been so high lately I wanted to size down a bit. So are you saying the 400 watt MH in the xxxl hood wont have good results for veg? im not actually using the whole 4x4 area, more like 3x3

*edit* sorry I see what you mean now, use a 400 for veg only in the 4x4, right?

if trying to save veg under the 400 in a 2x2 up to a 3x3 area small pots
transplant into larger pots and flower out those girls
id start everything out in 5gal smart pots for a big root mass
16 veg everthing under the 1000w till 18'' to 24''
flower out easy 2oz per close to 2lb even if 1lb price for running
the 1000w is totaly worth it. your girls will get big quick vegin under the 1kw mh
