if a cop stops you, he usually THINKS he has a good reason to do so, and your contrary opinion will not convince him otherwise.
your righteous indignation will not deflect a bullet, and your smug self-assurance that nobody would dare shoot you, no matter how stupid you act, will be of little use in staunching your sucking chest wound.

if he insists on searching me, i likewise insist that we both should enjoy the mutual protections that come from his actually arresting my ass first.
if he doesnt think he has the cause for arrest, he wont bother searching you, if he DOES think he can arrest you confidently, he was gonna search you anyhow.
