a lot of work bro, might have to shell out some home depot workforce money!!! If you have the OK then start now so wifey doesnt change her mind!!! Shit I would have a few sleepless nights getting to work on that.So I decided I wanted to build out part of my attic for growing. Insulate it, walls, AC unit, drop down ladder, the works. So I sparked up a conversation with my wife and and started to explain my ideas to her of a master bathroom renovation.
To give an idea, we have a large bathroom with at least 25 sq ft that is open wasted space. A separate tub and shower and a long counter with two sinks and a separate small toilet room. The L shaped walk-in closet is off this bathroom as well. Lol so I told her ok I'm going to take 3 feet off the closet, relocate the toilet room into the 25 ft I mentioned and basically wall myself off about a 7x7 area to grow with nestled off the closet access. She said fuck no and we argued about it for a bit in the loving way that we do. I ended up coming to a compromise with her in that I would be willing to build my grow area in the attic

The easiest usable space is 6ft high at the point. The triangle is 8 ft wide at the base and it's 11 ft from the wall to where another wall will go. I won't be able to do it right away and that's fine, but I do got the go ahead.
I plan to still veg in the house and this will be for flower only with maybe 2 600's or 1000's.

Today is a cycle day. What's that mean again? I start 2 seeds in solo cups, I transplant 2 plants into their 2 gallon smart pots, 2 plants go into the flower tent, 2 plants get harvested.
Ok I'm not to the harvesting point yet, I have two more 3 week cycles before I actually start to harvest plants. Because I started with a full tent to begin with, obviously there is no room to keep rotating plants in if you're following me? So what I've been doing is instead taking my lesser looking beauties out of the tent and putting them outside to finish. Luckily we have the right outdoor light cycle right now for this to work!
In 3 weeks 2 plants under the led need to go in the tent and I have a single plant in a 1 gal smart pot that will go outside to make room. Most of what's been going outside wasn't really planned in the first place, it was just me starting beans willy nilly. I ended up with more females than expected and who's just gonna throw a girl away!? Not me!
So to recap, here you see the veg area. Theres 2 beans started today. This will only work for me with clones or fem seeds. Can't risk the male percentage with only 2 seeds. The two little ones are 3 weeks old from the day the seed went in dirt, so really 2 weeks from sprouting. NLxBB and fruity chronic. I'm going to clone the NLxBB for Emily. The lanky spider in the back is mamadude revegging.
And the tent again. They stage left to right so once everything's proper ill have from 6-8 plants at any time with each pair 3 weeks apart. You can see the height slope by age. It's all making sense now eh?!

I got my 2 gal. root pouch order today. They are a little thinner than the video led me to believe. They're rated to last 1.5-2 years above ground. The shipping was a little pricey but even after that they were less than $1 each and I'm spending $3-4 for the ones from my hydro shop.
