That light in the ceiling right there kind of fucked me, if I went past it I'd have to move it or rewire it off the switch. I said fuck it and went short. The inside corners are 6'3" x7" I'm guessing my electrical will be about $100 or more. 2 circuits, 1 light on a switch, and 2 4 plug outlets. That's next!

Id like 2 lights at some point. I was looking at hydrofarm site last night, god I could go crazy on hardware if I had the money. Split AC unit, CO2, all that jazz, then I had to come back to earth!

I might be a cheapo and try liquid nails to the floor.
Its a rental.
I dont think liquid nails will come off at moving time though....some thought to do.

I am liking how yours came out, even with the light in the way.

I'm really dragging ass on getting this started this morning. My 12 year old daughter has a friend over too that just kind of throws a wrench into the smoothness of it. Last night when I was test fitting the tent in the garage when they both came out and the friend said, is that a tent? I said why yes it is a tent as I gave my daughter the look of, hurry up whatever you're doing out here.

So I gotta clean out the closet corner, tear down my tent, remove shelving from the walls (yay, been fighting the wife for this one awhile), figure out my exhaust with the new tent and then set up the new tent. I'm predicting several hours. The new tent has the same passive intakes on the bottom with the crinkly flaps that are supposed to cover them, we'll they don't work for shit so I'm going to get some small fishing weights to attach along the flap edge. It should be enough weight to keep them down and straight when the lights are off but light enough to still let air in when the fans pulling.

Ill update later with pics n stuff!
I have a 12 yr old daughter as well as a 16 yr old one.
I know the look, and have been there too.
I told her friend it is tomatoes, but they arent growing yet.

Talk about priorities! My wife wants to go buy a new big screen and surround sound and I whined about it lol. Cuz I know I'm the one who has to install the shit and she's going to be bugging me to get it done! I'd like for her to ask me to do nothing till my room is done :)

Haha I have so much tv projector and surround stuff here that it is mostly in closets and garage.
The wife hates it now!
I love hooking that shit up and designing systems, and made her hate it with my ocd tweaking on the setups!

So I'm thinking of using the space between a set of boards as a plenum to my exhaust. On the inside it will have a round 6" duct flange. Then ill put 2 square vents on the outside wall that are like 6x9 square each. I got the boxes and switches today. I've spent around $120 so far. I'm gonna guesstimate what's left around $300.

Ok the juices started flowing. I think I'm gonna do a 6x3 table setup in anticipation of doing a traditional ebb n flow. But I'm going to start with a vertical grow in rw slabs with my single 600 in 3x3 area. If it works out I can add another 600 and use the other 3x3. I'm thinking a drain to waste with 4-36x6 vertical slabs, 3 plants per slab on a PVC rack of some sort that will drain into a catch. I dunno, I was just thinking out loud.

Oh I think I'm gonna return the 15amp stuff for 20. I don't want to regret it later when I can just do it now for a little more. I need $60 in 7/16 osb and only $28 for the drywall. I could save and drywall the inside but I want to be able to put screws anywhere I want.

I went and changed all the outlets today. It was an extra $20 or so. The wire will be an extra $10. Now I won't have any doubt.

Found a cool app for drawing rooms with the iPad. You just aim it in the corners and click a button as you go. The 2 inside boxes are to scale, a 6x3 table and a 2x2 cabinet. The cabinet will be roughly 5' tall and have two spaces in it. 3' on the bottom for vegging, 2' on top for cloning. Bought some more shit today. I'm at $165 so far. The door will open out not in, but the software wouldn't let me swap it.
