Nice, that panda film thing sounds like a nice idea. and the 2 400w will like that imo. better coverage etc. I would do a perp sog one one 400w(kinda like trynagrowsumshit) and then just grow some decent sized monsters on the other 400w. get them clones on deck with your converted veg room.
In my opinion monster cropping would be kinda awesome for that. sure the clones take longer to root but the plants will be awesome. all depending on the strain though. all you would have to do was clean up the lower canopy etc. and you'd be gucci. my seeds did finally update today(in NY). so they should be here saturday or monday.
I have an agent O that was monster cropped i'll show you a pic of it tomorrow before i give it to it's patient... I'll have pics from on on the weekly when she flowers the AO. so i'll see how monster c. works with small containers.

Thanks for the idea on that sog.I was thinking of using both for it but well see.You already know clones will be on deck from the little box.I need to get some pl-55 bulbs from htg they cost around 15 dollars and add some cfls i should be straight with the veg..
It seems every time i monstercrop a plant that shit hermies on me.So i dont want to do that i rather lst it from young but again well see.
Finally your seeds should be there..Let me know whats good with the others.

Its a bit of stress but i think its just the genetics.Ive seen plenty of monstercrops done with no problems but my luck my shit always end up with sacs..It happened with a purps,a kushberry and my og 18..I didnt really monstercrop the 18 more like a super lst..

I've monster cropped without hermies so I think it may be more genetics too. Maybe a combo of genetics and stress? Who knows...
If you are flowering in a 3x3 space, you'll be better off with a single 600 than two 400s since there's only one heat source and 3x3 is the ideal area for a 600. If you put two 400s in there you'll definitely have more heat than a single 600. I have total confidence in that statement since I've grown with both in the same space (3x4). The jump to a 600 didn't show some giant increase in heat like some say it does. I did switch from a Supernova hood to a cooltube but used the same ducting and fan for a week or two before upsizing the ducting to match the cooltube.
Two 400's would be great in that space if you can keep both bulbs cool enough to control the room temps. It just comes down to personal preference and what you really want to get out of your grow. You'll also be drawing considerably more electricity with two magnetic 400s @ 950-960watts compared to the 655 of the 600 digital so depending your per kilowatt hour charge, that may be something to consider. You're getting close to the 1K range at that point.
PS: Yes I do know the 400s draw that much (475-480watts) since I put a meter on mine before upsizing to the 600 so I'd know what I was getting into.

BTW, I am currently running two 1000s and three 600s for anyone reading so I'm not just trying to push a 600 on WBW because I think it's the best thing ever or anything like that. I'm just passing along what I've experienced, just like you, so he can make the most educated decision possible when he buys his next equipment.

Just figure out what's going to be right for you and go with it. The only way you'll be sorry is if you get hit with a higher elec bill than you expect or if you can't keep your room cool. Other than that, you can't really go wrong with either plan you've mentioned and will get killer plants with killer buds. The CMH is where it's at if you've got the coin. I'll be getting them at soem point and switching mine out, all of them.
Was considering trying one of the dualarc bulbs in one of the 1000w lights too but I'm just not convinced on them yet. It's really two 500s in one bulb.

i hve 3 lovely clones taken in week 3 of flower --my very first and only clones ever --they are doing fine --soonto be week 5 of flower no signs of herm --i cant swear that it wont be a prt of their future --has not happend so far --i keep a close eye on all plants especially my #18 aftr you told me you got naners on yours --Dez is daman on lights good man to bounce questins and ideas off a valuable assest

Glad to hear about the succesful clone job first time! You must have done your reading on RIU! LOLOh and yeah I would pull your plants out and keep an eye on them for naners! Those fucking things can pop up over night and open quickly so I would check twice a day at least. I am going to get a real good picture of naners growing inside the buds if I can. Cus the first time it happened to me I had no clue what they were and bam my first grow went to shit! If I remember correctly it was only 3-4 out of six plants that got seeds. Live and learn, and grow fatty ass frosty buds!
Hopefully we will all be as good as WBW some day! LOL kiss-ass
