Which would yield more under exact same conditions?

You're comparing a sativa with an indica. The sativa takes a lot longer to finish and typically they don't have as big a yield as the indica (but they can) but the high is usually a lot better.

This is a picture of my homeboys plants. he is trying to figure out what strain the small leaf plants are. There are 5 super silver haze in the back, and 5 small leaved ones (diff strain) in the front. He knows forsure the back ones are super silver haze, but is unsure about the front ones. Maybe they are blueberry kush, or something on the indica side?

I dont understand, i seen a post where dude says sativa's will have smaller leaves while indicas have bigger leaves. which seems to be complete oposite from what i am seeing. I notice the super silver hazes (sativas) have bigger leafs . so i am a bit confused

Yes they are both hybrids but the SSH is sativa dominant and the other is indica dominant. The leaves on your buds plant look very normal for SSH. I grew some super lemon haze last year and the leaves look almost identical.

i wish they were mine, they are my buddies. i still dont get what hybrid means, and why would the super silver haze have indica looking leaves, and vis versa.

OK, there is cannabis sativa and there is cannabis indica; both at marijuana but each has it's own uniqueness. There is also ruderalis, a close relative of the two. Since they are the same species they can breed and reproduce and their offspring will exhibit traits particular to both the sativa and the indica. Don't worry about the shape of the fan leaves; you don't smoke them anyway. Trust me, the leaves on your plant look perfectly normal. The leaves of a pure indica are much broader and the leaves of a pure landrace sativa are much narrower. What you have is a sativa dominant strain and the leaves show it's sativa heritage.
