Sorta has nothing to do with the OP, but in my head it does.

Vote those motherfucking, lying sacks of pure shite out of office.

The lives of your children depend on it
It really has everything to do with super tuesday, many went to the polls over it. The solution is in the senate and the solution is at hand.

True, I don't really see it turning Red in November regardless of who is the Democratic nominee. Although the latino communities are getting hit hard with the propaganda. I don't know enough about Cali to know if that will be enough to change that though.
The latino communities in here in Cali understand that Trump is the enemy. No propaganda is going to change that. I do have a latino relative in a red state who is a Trump supporter however. Interesting how geography changes people's outlook sometimes.

It's a good bet that the Bernie effect will suppress votes from the latino community in 2020. That shithead tore the Democratic Party a new asshole and we are going to take a while to heal. Fuck that old man.

No, I don't think it will have much effect. The Latino community will rally around "defeat Trump".

When Liz drops out, I suspect that Biden will get the Lion's share of her remaining supporters. The ones that don't loathe Sanders already crept into his tent in the last month.
Maybe. Many Warren supporters have set up Bernie as their enemy in the primary fight, since the two of them have been scrabbling over the progressive vote for a while. It may be difficult for the Warren die hards to do an about-face. I voted for Bernie, but I'm also willing to accept the reality that it looks like Biden will take it. Better Biden than Bloomberg (and I don't really like Biden much at all).

"It" had the result of depressing the vote in 2016, though. You haven't said anything to refute my claim that it will happen again in 2020.

"Democrats and Republicans are the same". We hear this a lot on this forum. That is Bernie's political bread and butter.

Bernie was a charismatic figure who attracted a lot of those in the Latino community who had been apathetic to voting. He fed a lot of lies including ones like "Democrats are why college education is too expensive for the middle and lower economic classes", "Democrats are why campaign finance laws haven't changed" and "Democrats why we don't have single payer and universal access to healthcare". You just watch. The anger that Bernie stoked will turn into apathy toward voting. Not all but a large enough number will stay home because of the rage that Bernie's rhetoric promoted.

Your own divisive bullshit posts are a reflection of that kind of propaganda. Tell me that your views are any different today than yesterday.

I live in the Latino community in Cali, and I can tell you how people feel here in Cali, and it isn't what you are describing.

They understand that here in Georgia too. The sad part is that they're hopelessly outnumbered by racist, white assholes.

What you believe is up to you. I'm just saying that there is evidence that Bernie suppressed the vote among his supporters in 2016. I totally agree that the situation is dire among the latino community to get Republicans the hell out of control of our government. For myself, I do attend anti-ICE rallies in Portland and can say that the sentiment against Trump is much larger than any feelings one way or the other about Biden or Sanders.

Still though, where were those voters in 2016? Why didn't they come out then?

New Census Data Says 2016 National Latino Voter Turnout Rate Did Not Increase
Data released last week from the U.S. Census about the 2016 election said that the national voter turnout rate for Latinos did not surpass the 2012 rate.
