At his impeachment trial, Trump's OJ lawyer said he could commit any crime in order to become re-elected if he "thought" it was in the national interest. Republican Senators, many of whom are lawyers backed him up. Trump was assuming the rights of a king. Guess who was prosecuting Trump for comitting a crime in order to get re-elected.
