Yes, it's a thermostat for the heating pad under the fireproof welders blanker. You have to get the tank sooo firkin hot! It's kinda scary to watch the pressures rise in the tank when you heat it to near boiling point!!

Be careful of high pressure vassals.. I can't imagine what 5,000 LBS. psi would do!

This was 180LBs PSI air compressor

^ exactly why co2 isn't really for the "at home" oil maker. dealing with high pressure can be more dangerous than the risk of explosion from butane. You just really need to know what you are dealing with. I have seen an air compressor go like this at work. Luckily no one was around it, but it took out the wall of the garage we were building. 5,000psi would take out that entire house. Good thing I guess is if you are next to it when it blows you won't know the difference. I like how quick the dude in the video reacted with the turniquites. (no idea how to spell that.)

Yea you have some very legitimate concerns their ......

Im thinking You should replace that pressure relief valve every so many hours of use . Just my 2 cents

There is a lot more involved in getting this contraption to work than he makes it look in his videos.....

Overall how do you feel the extract compares to a BHO extract?? Can you really tell a change in the flavor? Color? Etc?

Too early to tell yet, what we are getting from it is a thick waxy paste. I guess I don't know what to do with it next. Ill post a pic in a few min.
I will say this thing is too slow & cumbersome for commercial use. It's ok for making your own......

This is what we are getting out of the CO2 extractor. A pasty yellow oily waxy goo......
I can vape it if I warm it up, and it gets you really high.....
What do I need to do to turn this into amber oil?..

Thanks Dannoo. Here's a pic after a little time in a hot water bath. It's a little thick, but I was able to suck a couple grams into a syringe, & into my vape pen. Taste is awesome.....

Very impressive!
Where you have it clumped up at the tip of the syringe, very nice color.
You have aroused my interest in CO2 extraction.
