I still have to LST these everyday,View attachment 1115074 just to keep them within.
thats badass and I want to see!Yes, they are very much an enemy of butterflies and caterpillars.
In fact, they can take down caterpillars many, many, times their size!
Hopefully, I'll be able to see and catch this on camera.
Consider it a huge outdoor SOG.wont bunching them up like that make the buds smaller? less light to the bottoms?
No, these bugs all showed up on their own.thats badass and I want to see!
do you buy the larvae of the assassain bugs or do they come prehatched? I want some.
haha and I think you might need a bigger fence the way those ladies are growing
I've been lucky so far. Although lots of caterpillars/butterflies in the area, none on the plants yet. Then again, I have been alternating BT and Seven to control pests, so maybe that has kept my ladies clean so far.Consider it a huge outdoor SOG.
No, these bugs all showed up on their own.
I'll have to post a pic update tomorrow. Many branches are sticking through.
My earliest bloomer has been the victim of 30+ caterpillars! All of which have been pinched to death, and or thrown to the ground feeding insects.

There is definitely that many caterpillars I've been counting.
I killed 5 before taking those pics and you can still see caterpillars in these pics if you look close enough.
