switched from MH to HPS now my plants are drooping

And here is a tip, Don't change to bloom food yet... Most don't have enough nitrogen to support early bud development and you'll run into yellowing the 3-4 th week of flowering

Yup it's common, I used to do the whole mh to hps thing and my ladies would always do that.. Now I just use hps's for everything expect babies and cloning
Maybe its common for your garden but I have never seen it. You quit using MH because of it?!? Posts like that make me wonder how some people end up with so much rep.

Because I didn't see any difference in node spacing, mh burn hotter and I couldn't keep my ladies as close... And P.s GO FUCK YOURSELF!!

And let's get this strait, DON'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT NO REP, NEVER ASKED FOR REP AND HELL I DON'T EVEN SEE THE POINT OF IT..

there is no point in it, in fact it probably gives people a false sense that some people know what they are talking about. What I've read in your posts is pretty much case and point.

yup whatever you say.... your an asshole that probably don't know shit about shit. Like i said GO FUCK YOURSELF and have a nice day cause you ain't even worth my time.. Don't be a hater cause i have more rep then you hahahahahahahaha asshole

I know this is an old post but I'm having the very same problem after switching my light from a 130w CFL to a 250w HPS, I have not changed anything else. I have never had the problem before it's just with this strain (KC Brians Northern Lights Special) which I think is shit as they seem to have genetic problems. However, switching your light can make this happen and those saying it can't are full of shit, your plants would have been shocked from the spectrum of your HPS as it mimics the light for flowering and the spectrum is put out at a higher intensity discharge than MH.

I second the motion. Sometimes I'll move my plants from veg to flower room, which has all HPS bulbs, and veg them a little longer to get plants bigger. If I do not switch the bulbs, the plants get pissed. I don't think they can handle HPS spectrum beyond a certain number of hours so abruptly. If I go right to 12/12 with the HPSs, the plants seem to do fine. But if they get 16-20 hours of that light so quickly they go on strike. Just an observation for the community.

just moved mine to HPS and they went a little limp. Makes sense as MH mimics Summer midday and HPS mimics early Autumn. HPS runs warmer (lumens are much higher also)and pulls out the moisture/humidity in soil faster...so when you make the switch keep an eye on watering schedule. No living thing adapts to change that fast. it takes a day or three.

The reason for the sudden deficiency. And the old posts are correct. When you see the bottom leaves thicken, darken and curl down and soon get whitish tips you need more nutes.

The higher intensity of the HPS or more wattage used as stated above will cause faster growth and higher needs for nutrients.

And I agree about not switching to bloom nutes early. The leaves will yellow and die too soon for good results. I grow in potting soil and only use a balanced grow nute and only in flower when the soil depletes.

Are those bottom leaves?
I know its a very old post but ppl will want to know what wrong im growing autos fist 3 weeks 200 watt cfl ,transplant to final pot (with no ill effect or shock dont no why ppl say cant trans auto )then 1 week far red cfl ,now 250 hps this is when i notice very tops leafs nearest the light droop slightly ,light stress ,but they defo bounce back as long as there not at light saturation point
