I've recently had problems with one of my t5s. Half the bulbs on one of my fixtures just stopped working one day. They turned back on the next day but I didn't want to have to worry about lights since I just switched to flower 1.5 weeks ago or so. I have bought a 600w ballast and fixture and all the goodies.
But now I'm worried about messing up my plant. If I switch it from 14 t5s to a 600w hps will that be to much light and mess her up?
It is about 4ft+ tall kushage plant in a 4x4x7 box. I know that's not ideal but my dad started the plant while I was out of town so now I am just doing damage control.
It has tons of fan leaves that are pushing 8-9 inches. So I'm hoping this will help with the light absorption.
But tracking says the light will be here tomorrow and I'm just wondering if I should switch the light or just keep my t5s til harvest and save it for next time.
The ballast is switchable to 50% 75% so if I have to I could run it at a lower power to introduce it?? Maybe? Ideas on that?
It's coming with a 440 cfm inline to cool it. I already have a 170 with a filter for smell control.
Just put her to bed for the night pics tomorrow hopefully
