Kind of interesting looking at this from a savings perspective for a large grower. It takes double the amount of Part A to get from .5 to .6 EC.
Which means lowering the EC for the plants results in exponential savings!
Have to balance it against possible diminished yields, but EC doesn't change yield that much. Also not sure how large an operation one would have to be to start to worry about this.

Man, I never did start using Jacks. I had too many variables going on in this experiment. We changed mediums and added A CO2 Generator.. gonna take it one step at a time.

I just browsed through your threads. That C02 setup is looking pretty nice. Will be interesting to see how much more it yields. Probably going to be a learning curve though. Learning and trying new things makes this hobby/job fun though IMO.

I’ve been using a Proteus RH/Temp WiFi sensor n datalogger. Trying to decide whether I like it. Your unit looks to have more robust software. I show constant peaks n valleys with both RH & temp. I THINK this is due to deadband on ac n dehumidifier, but for all I know it could be bullshit data.

The update interval on my sensors is around 90seconds.
I DO have the temp/rh peaks and valleys directly related to deadband of dehuey and AC.
My dehuey has a 10% swing. Grrrr.

Ya, that was my experience with data loggers. You find a problem and then its a bit confusing on how to deal with it.
I haven't looked at the data for a few months though. On my last run I put a sensor under the canopy. And it didn't really matter where it was under the canopy. It stayed a consistent 72-75.
Its almost like the plants are self regulating. They don't care about temperature changes because it stays pretty consistent under the canopy.

I’m grateful for your help, guys. I’ve never connected to my datalogger via pc - I always use my phone. I’ll try today on the ‘puter, & see if I can copy n paste my readout.
Teag, the flatter line is lights off? Do you supplement co2, or have anything with a pilot light in your grow room?
I was pretty flipped out by the peaks n valleys.

Yes. Over winter that line was pretty flat but you can see my home AC can't keep up with the heat. At lights on it peaks up and down due to the air conditioner turning on/off. Its a problem of not having a dedicated heating/cooling system for my grow space.
No pilot light or CO2. I run the smaller side of the closet during the day to try to balance out the difference between lights on/off. But it didn't really help that much.

That's a nice graph. Similar to what I see on ecowitt graphs.
To help with the lights off upswing in RH, I crank up my dehuey 30 minutes before lights out. Or if I'm already running it during lights-on, I lower the RH setting to pull it down. Worried about PM....grrr

I used to worry about powdery mildew also. But, I stopped worrying once I looked at the sensor data under the canopy. Never had a problem with it either.
The graph below is after lights on. I moved the sensor 5 inches under the canopy after I watered. As you can see it stays pretty consistent under there. Keep in mind, there is probably more space underneath the canopy than there is above in my grow space. Take away the four walls and ambient air is probably going to be more of a factor.
Have you started planting any beans yet!

If my closet did a 15 point swing in humidity I would shrug and call it a day.

Some combination of both temp and humidity swings....possibly compounded by window banger AC unit freezing up and blasting high humidity sporadically.
Once it came gifted on clones. Grrrrr. Lol

yeah, man. I fear one day relaxing my guard on inbound clones (again) & getting something unpleasant. Very glad that in my state it’s getting easier to get quality seeds without traveling.
