Taking clones very late

I have 4 strains that I took cuts off that did not survive because of the cold, I can not lose these genetics, so I am going to attempt to clone super late into flower. They are at the start of week six and are 10 week strains. Has anybody had success cloning very late into flowering, or does anybody have any advice with this? I really can’t lose the strains and will try to monster crop tomorrow.

flowers will rot very quickly in high humidity under a dome. you should keep a close eye on it. instead of putting a dome you can keep them uncovered in a humid room in your house and spray them if you see them wilt. in this case you can also use something like clonex spray or biobizz leaf coat type of deal to further prevent excessive loss of moisture. also the success rate will be lower on the rooting so take many many cuts.

You might be better off revegging the plant you're harvesting than cloning. Look into it at least, if you do it just make sure you leave enough plant alive. Put it back into 20/4 lighting or more with less light intensity than normal. After around 4-6 weeks it will throw some odd growth then you chop some of the wierd stuff off and try to promote the most normal looking growth. It might take up to 2 months to get her back to normal but then you can "monster crop" it which is pretty cool

While you leave as many leaves as possible, pinch off all flowers. I squeeze the buds and if I feel a lump, I pinch that part off. I do 24/0 hours of light, but YMMV. For me, pinched off flowering clones reveg quicker than just reveging the whole plant. I did lose about a third of the reveging clones. Whole plants all survived, but took over three months.

To me it seems like it takes longer to root and then after you get roots its a few weeks(ish) before you start to see new growth. I’ve left buds on and kept the dome on for a couple days with no issues. If it’s something you can’t lose then take as many cuts as you can AND re-veg the whole plant too. That way you’ve got multiple chances. They do grow fkn weird lookin at first though

I've done it quite a few times in 4" tiny pots of coco. Takes way longer to dry out so don't need to water till it roots. I use a dome with the vents open and get a little cobweb mold sometimes but the bud usually browns and can be picked off before that

I have take cuts from flowering plants several times, put them in an aeroponic cloner with no dome, a small dose of pool shock in it as well. Once roots form put into whatever medium of choice, then start to reveg, I just go with 18/6. they will look ugly for several weeks with smooth single blade leaves, then start growing out normally.

I've revegged with success after around 3 weeks then cloned off the reveg plant the clones took around 2.5 weeks in an aerocloner tho and look terrible at the moment due to just ph'd water but the roots are growing so I'm hopeful I've saved it
