Reading an article that's misspelled turns me off completely. I can't even read some people's posts because of how retarded their grammar is. When I see something for sale and they can't even get the grammatical side correct how am I suspossed to know that you aren't lacking in other aspects as well.

Rahz what I would like to know is with you running your lights so hard are they being properly cooled. Offerering 3 different models is the 2100 being cooled as much as the 1400 am I paying for a larger heat sink as the current goes up, or is one going to be more efficiently ran than the other. I feel that with the 2100 I may be getting a warranty nightmare waiting to happen. I wish you all the luck but a three year warranty doesn't mean crap when you haven't been around for 10 plus years
 
The 2100 series was/is the reference design. It is comfortably over cooled with more sink surface area and airflow than required. None of the lamps will run more than 10C over ambient. Since the same cooling solution is applied to the 1750 and 1400 series it's just more overkill.

I didn't set out to sell good enough lamps. I wanted to build great lamps and squeeze out as much light as I can per watt. It's not just a factor in life expectancy and efficiency but also a factor in the time they remain above L90 so it's important for a variety of reasons to keep them as cool as possible. At an ambient of 30C none of the cobs should hit over 40. COB life expectancy is based on a temp double that. The first DIY lamp I built will be 3 years old this December, an array of 23 cobs running warm at around 65C. No failures as of yet.

It was going to be either (2) T2-2100 or (2) cx300's in the 5x3 closet. I already knew (2) T2-2100 in a 3x3 would kick ass better than (1) cx300 in a 3x3 so i didn't bother to ask that one.

Im in between the t2's in the 5x3 or the 3x3. if i go 5x3 then ill purchase another tent.

I dunno if this has been said, but they daisy side to side, not end to end. I mean the M/F is long enough (I think??) they are super stiff, after being twisty tied they are hell bent on keeping that shape. and pulled the lights if they where not close enough.

this is not a big deal, my mentor says you can use a heat gun or hair dryer and warm them up a bit and roll/pull it out.


about the heat, I'm not worried about the lights, they are steady 40c(ish)/94-104f on the sink. it just they expel all heat after its reached saturation. TBH I don't really know what I'm talking about just trying to explain my experience so far. and again I don't think the light is in any danger or risk of failure at all.

I don't wet trim (this was not finished at this time of photo) but his was from the same mom, and flipped the same time as an HPS: different growers and everything else though.

we said: we take a tier three branch and send it to a neutral person(s) let them dry samples together. See what they have to say.

it will be a few weeks but: TBH I'm not hoping for a good grade so-to-speak, with the effects of my week hospital stay and the damage done, the wet trim, and me not doing my own curing.

the T3 light was fine, I had room there to expiate growth I only got to use one 20lbs of c02, hand feeding was on a one-finger lift last minute type of schedule.I even found a T3 was on veg setting two weeks before I cut. in my defense though for plants that were basically revived from a dire state they bounced back well. his cut was about 25% bigger unless he cheated, I doubt it though.

Nice. I would like to see same PPFDs for a head to head final product test, but that is a frosty nug. Looking forward to the results!
 
It was just a choice I made biased towards cooling. The lamps are now being built with 34db 75 CFM fans which are noticeably quieter but still push a lot of air. The new T3 will now have 2 fans rather than one.

Taking @SoOLEDs comments in mind, the next time I order cords I'll switch to 16g connectors cables. The lamps AC circuit will still be wired with 14g.

TBH, he still under lit IMHO, I think 4 T4's in each tent would be tip-top.

that's only 500watts a tent. and a little far away in height.

what I can notice and I suspected is the tent on the left has the angels, and to ME has better projection in to the canopy. it hard to tell its kind of jungle in there lol.

I don't have a problem with fan noise, and my T2 is awesome, it was the T3 I though should have a second fan, its right on the edge: I can see how a one fan works, and two is wayyy more then enough. so its kind a price problem I guess.

(guessing numbers) if one fan is doing 89% of the work, but leaving 11% of loose thermals: and you add a second fan just to cover that 11%. maybe you could have some fan options, maybe a fan speed controller with the dimmer T3(2.1) or lower RPM rated fans, which is nice cause they would be quite like some people want.

I never said the light was bad with out a second fan, but that I thought the fan/sink. I just had problems on warmer days. I never thought the lights were over heating or anything.

thanks, I'm going to post the rest of the harvest when its ready anyways you will see the rest, and weight in.

that pic was pretty small smaple, but a wall sticker for sure.

if I was going to add 3 lights per tent I wouldn't I would just throw up a third tent. I like the 2 lights per 4x4 I have tested the canopy and I was getting around 800-1200 ppfd depending on the spot.
 
The new 2100 lamps with dimming knobs are in stock. I submitted 3 T4s to AFN for testing and had several people waiting for T3s and T4s, so I'm already running low. New product pics are in place. T3s now have dual fans. I liked the backdrop lighting and decided to not clean up the background.

Can someone explain to me why the T1-2100 only puts out 78 watts and 39 PAR watts? That seems relatively low. Not talking shit, but if I'm going to pull the trigger on it, I want someone to explain the science of this shit to me.
