my mom's always been a tea drinker, so through her i've also been one pretty much since a baby i'd say.. she pretty much usually only drinks like english breakfast or earl grey, but if she's making a cup for herself she'll drink something a bit more exotic...

about 20 years or so ago i used to work in a coffee and tea store in the local mall.. learned tons about both coffee and tea, but even back then i wasn't really big into coffee and still preferred me tea over it..
Yeah, it's weird because my moms was a tea drinker also. Plain old Lipton for her. If she was feeling adventurous some Constant Comment. But for whatever reason I never liked it when I was younger. It really all started for me a year ago in China as there was not much else to drink. Besides beer. Which I too drank alot of. I blame my late start on my moms addiction to SweetnLow. :-P

lmao, i think all mom's use sweet and low.. years ago, it was sachrin, then they came out and said it was a carcinogen, so i figured i'd take my chances with plain old sugar ( not that i ever used sachrin or any sugar substitute before)..

Lol, Yes, Yes real sugar for me too. We've actually been using raw rock sugar we get at the Oriental Market on the cheap. It takes alittle while to dissolve but ya gotta let it steep anyways. And no racism it actually is called Oriental Market.

i'll never understand how the word oriental is considered racist by some people.. that area of the world was called the orient for centuries, so i don't get it..
i once saw an asian comedian and she used the word oriental, and was like, oh snap, didn't mean to offend myself, lol..

I guess some people don't like tea and cake... Even teapots and cakes shaped like ganja and lady parts...

Ah well, one-starred or not... You're all welcome to the tea party <3
