Tent size help....I'm a little new and not sure...1st time

Hey guys.....need some advice from some more experienced folks here. I'm going to get a tent set up for the winter. Not looking for bouquet looking flowers just yet but dont want to waste time and money. I'm not sure exactly but how much difference can a 3x3 be against a 4x4. I have a limit of 4 plants but thinking a 3x3 is a bit small maybe. And is there any recommend brands out there? I have a 4x4 vivo sun and a 3x3 iPowerGL tent in my sights.

Also....my plan is that I dry my outdoor (given some twat cunts dont jack my plants) inside the tent first. Then from fem seeds pop up some new ones. Any advice on drying my plants inside after harvest would be great because I dont want to rush this after months of hard work to ruin it....but if so....shit happens lol.

Any advice would help and is much appreciated.

I'd go with the 4x4 if you have enough room, but I wouldn't bring anything from outside and put it in there to dry. Maybe get a second tent for that. They are pretty reasonably priced. I would be worried about contaminating the next round cause who knows what your bringing in from outside. Good luck though man.

Cheers with advice for the drying tent. Makes sense....where to get one that's decent. Dont know exactly what to look for. I understand the growing aspect really well but drying is a little unknown.

Lighting....havent a clue but best hydro usage for light power is my preferred choice for now.....what's a good route?

I was just talking about a different cheap grow tent to dry in instead of the one your gonna grow in. Something like this.

I defs do not have the funds for a gorilla....I wish....but not yet. Looking more on the economy side of the spectrum right now....but not total garbage. And I will look into a drying tent for sure.

What kind of setup do you need in a drying tent?

Well assuming the ambient humidity isn't higher than 50% a drying tent is gonna need a small exhaust fan and you can use a budget inkbird humidity controller. What is the ambient humidity?

For a drying tent you can go really cheap or even use a big cardboard box with a fan scrounged from an old PC or whatever. punch some vent holes in there. put some dowel rods or sticks of PVC through holes across the top to hang the weed from.

Havent even checked the ambient humidity at all. Have to get a device to check and see. And for sure the fan is a requirement to ensure good air flow or mould and rot would surely be an issue. Where could I find a cheap humidity checker lol. Excuse my lack of knowledge for the name hahaha....rough night lol

It will control a device such as an exhaust fan or dehumidifier. You can also use it to see what the humidity is. I have several around here, both temp and humidity ones.

Well for drying I like to start out around 35 - 40 percent for a couple days then I slow them down at 50%. Once they are fully dry enough for a cure you could put them at 60 - 62%, thats usually done in the jars or whatever just don't do it too soon as the stems inside the buds could still hold a lot of h2o. Some people like those boveda packs or I hear the Boost packs are even better. There are a lot of threads with peoples different takes on a cure, I personally don't like to cure because I don't want to loose flavor and the weed hits perfect when it's dried.

I harvest leaving the buds on them stems, knock off the big fans, then tray them to dry. The stems slow it down a little. Once dry it's trim time.

If you get your bud a little too dry you can put it in a container with a few fresh fan leaves and they will bring the moisture up for curing purposes. Just keep an eye on it. If there is a lot of bud, layer about 2 inches of bud then cover that with a few fan leaves (not a lot) then 2 inches of bud, fan leaves and so forth. In just a few hours it can make a big difference.
