You need to come with the same quality as blue river then. Over the counter terps won't cut itTo sell $500 a gallon terps for $100 a gram and get fabulously wealthy.
How about for $50 a gram? NOW would you buy Econo-Terps?You need to come with the same quality as blue river then. Over the counter terps won't cut it
no. I know what's being used. I get $50 - $60 a gram for my ice wax and my rosin. How about for $50 a gram? NOW would you buy Econo-Terps?
I actually just read where some people tried adding limonene to shatter and it was "off-putting". Understandable, considering it probably smelled and tested like Pledge furniture polish. I've given up on this terpene thing anyway though. Nobody would be dumb enough to pay for common terpenes, right? It was just a thought. Totally wouldn't work in real life, probably. Besides, terpenes are what makes extracts harsh, I think. Haven't experimented to see if pure terps are harsh or not. I would think limonene would be rather unpleasant. But you never know.no. I know what's being used. I get $50 - $60 a gram for my ice wax and my rosin.
Thanks, I didn't know about that. So $5 a gram, not bad profits there. Get a $500 jug and you've got 4000 grams. That's what, $20,000 worth? Or for a lovely pine flavor, a can of turpentine for probably about $10 a liter. But then how much could you sell? Could potentially be a big market, or could be next to none. Do a lot of people try to smoke extracts in an e-cig? I don't smoke nicotine myself so I wouldn't know anything about it. Maybe it's about who gets their brand out there and widely known first, but should be a big enough market for several companies. I guess whoever has the best flavors gets the most sales. Whether terps are really safe to smoke, I don't know.fyi," the solution " by mr.extractor is exactly what you are talking about. take a look.
So my idea is to make REAL rosin, like they make pine rosin. You take the resin and mix a bunch of water with it and boil it to steam distill off the terps. You also winterize it and you've got a nice clean cannabinoid product without those nasty terps, which are of course very cheap and common compounds. I figure if people want to smoke terps they're welcome to it. They can get their own from somewhere else. I don't want terp contaminated rosin and I want real rosin, not resin, which is what they are currently calling rosin erroneously. If it has terps in it, it isn't rosin it's Cannabis oleoresin. So now I've gone from thinking about adding more terps to wanting to get rid of them. Could save them though from the steam distillation. In fact, maybe a home water purifying distiller would work."Hazards
As an organic solvent, its vapour can irritate the skin and eyes, damage the lungs and respiratory system, as well as the central nervous system when inhaled, and cause renal failure when ingested, among other things. Being combustible, it also poses a fire hazard. Because turpentine can cause spasms of the airways particularly in people with asthma and whooping cough, it can contribute to a worsening of breathing issues in persons with these diseases if inhaled.
People can be exposed to turpentine in the workplace by breathing it in, skin absorption, swallowing it, and eye contact. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has set the legal limit (permissible exposure limit) for turpentine exposure in the workplace as 100 ppm (560 mg/m3) over an 8-hour workday. The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) has set a recommended exposure limit (REL) of 100 ppm (560 mg/m3) over an 8-hour workday. At levels of 800 ppm, turpentine is immediately dangerous to life and health."
