if we take away some of the $20b annual USA fossil fuel subsidies and apply them to ev's we would not have this issue......however we would have cleaner air...so we choose our problems.
I think standards and interoperability are needed the most to solve the charging infrastructure problem, the EU has the right approach, standards are a government issue.
