yo texas growers. I'm not sure if this has been discussed, but has anybody pulled off an outdoor texas grow during the winter without protection?

when I run the blueberry...i'll try Dj's true blue...only because I have all these built up ideas of what blueberry is....I want my 1st test to be spot on

I have...no I don't have pics anymore...
Bout 2 years ago was my last...used to grow year round odessa-midland region
Survived a few inches of snow that came early december as youngish seedlings...ended up with about an oz each..12/12 from seed
Few Hermes watch out for that...I learned that planting in groups, the middle ones did beautifully..I did patches of 6 or so

Suppose I should say that I wasn't able to tend to them often or protect them in anyway..you could do better..especially if germed and shit indoors

slight protection...many times. IME it's best for seeded crops, seed production. Otherwise the crazy light cycles make for shitty buds/reveg.

A frost blanket some nights with a couple of gallon jugs of hot water underneath was enough in my situation. Good Luck! I'm glad to see someone else try it. NOBODY looks for weed outside in the winter :eyesmoke:

I wish I was still in a place I could do it.
